Posts I've Made
12 March 2008 - 08:33 AMI'll second it with the stock internals are fine. I've chaged out about everything possible on mine. I have an LP kit which while yes the marker shoots with a lower input pressure, but requires a larger volume of air. Biggest difference is merely that I can get further into my tank than a stock A-5. I'm getting close to the same as stock as far as number of shots.
Unless you're just wanting to upgrade there's not a whole lot to have to upgrade. The springs are always handy to have around just in case of a velocity problem.
Just make sure that your purchase of an HPA tank is just that High pressure not Low pressure. Your tippman won't like LP.
10 March 2008 - 12:20 PMThe original Stiffi barrels, you couldn't use a battle swab to clean them only a silicone jerk for fear that the cotton/fluff of the swab could catch a bur of the CF (if there was one) and cause a "run" inside of the barrel. I would imagine that the fiberglass would help elimnate the potential CF threads from sticking out inside the barrel hence the added ability to use the swab.
Stiffi seems to be the only CF manufacturer that has that warning with their barrels. I use a Deadlywinds now and have no problems with any barrel cleaners with it.
06 February 2008 - 10:34 AMThat appears that it would be a correct fit for the standard ASA. I'd say look to get yourself a TAC cap beacuse I doubt you're gonna get even a full hopper out of a tank that size. But would deffinately make for a cool, light, fast marker.
21 January 2008 - 06:43 AMHow about a link or a name of the "operation in PA" that does this work? Looks good.
20 January 2008 - 11:04 AMThat was originally made by Punishers customs. Dr. Zox I believe is the owner of it. He's done some additional modding of what it was originally to get it to that point.
Xumed hasn't added any friends yet.
