21 February 2008 - 01:29 AMdon't waste your money buying an ion and making it milsim.....they are a money pit, i know from experience and i wish i had all that cash back. it's not worth the time or money to upgrade an ion
if you want milsim just buy the SP-1, the fact that you want to use Co2 should be the selling point right there, for 150 you get a marker with a crap-ton of rails that you can use Co2 with.
21 February 2008 - 01:19 AMwith the release of the XE and EOS, they are pretty much done with making them i would think.
they aren't a bad marker at all, basically an ion. with the exception of the firing chamber inserts and they run at a higher pressure than normal ions.
if your gonna get one, plan on keeping it, because you won't ever get back what you payed for it.
save your money and buy an EOS or an NXT.....you'll be much happier.
05 February 2008 - 10:53 PMi have a question for anyone reading this...
does anyone know if the adaptor plate that lets you use 98c stocks will allow for the opsgear g-36folding???
sweet talk to ya later...
from what i understand the hinges are right where the adpater plate attaches so the folding stocks won't work
05 February 2008 - 10:49 PMokay, i don't even have my gear with me here at college...but i plan on getting it out here soon. so does anyone know if there's a place near Grove City, PA, that fills HPA tanks?
(for those who don't know, Grove City is an hour south of Erie...right where I-80 and I-79 intersect)
Three Rivers Paintball in Cranberry/Freedom.....its down rt.79 a lil ways
