  1. Public Apology

    18 July 2011 - 11:44 PM

    Dear, Paintballers Everywhere

I am posting this to make a public apology to all and any I have offended or potentially offended. I want to apologize for lying: once on pbnation claiming to be a PMC in Afghan with training from XE Services, twice for claiming to be on SKO when I really wasn't, and thrice for about two years prior in claiming to be a Navy SEAL (my SEAL And Navy Budies got on me hard concerning that, learned my lesson, even though it took two years to recover, now I own a team dedicated to respecting what they doing and showing them honor). I do not have a military/law enforcement background, just multiple Friends and acquaintances that are active or retired. I am currently waiting to be shipped out for US Army BCT in Fort Benning since I have joined the Army Reserves. I believe I don't ship until October, so waiting patiently. I am apologetic for my newb mistakes in the past, concerning fps issues and etc. I am looking for many replies to this, hopefully you all accept my apology. I wish to apologize for any teams or individual players that felt disrespected or fraternized by any comments I have posted. I wish to apologize to all the mods for bringing unsaid drama to the forums and to the members for my too frequent post. Outside of paintball and military right now, I don't have a life. I guess you van say I am overpassionate. And I apologize. Thank you!

    Sincerely, Josiah Parrish
  2. Secrets From SEAL Team 6

    16 July 2011 - 04:07 PM

    Hello Gentleman,

My name is Josiah Parrish current Chief Scenario Officer of SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team, and current Squad Leader of SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team's SEAL Team 6. I currently have over a two years worth of extensive combat tactical training and experience (simulated through Airsoft and Tactical Training Classes), and love the sport of paintball.

SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team has 3 current units: SEAL Team 1,2, and 6. With ST6 being our most elite unit of SOCOM operators. While other SEAL Teams are quick, elusive, and aggressive; we tend to be stealthy, evading, and patient. But to the point, I'm here to give you the secret tactics behind our SEAL Team 6 combatants, so you may use them to all avail on the battlefield. I won't reveal all but just the bit that will come in handy for elaborate missions.

Stealth. What is true stealth? Slow movements. Taking 30-60 minutes to reach your target location. Using routes such as rivers and creeks (can't be afraid to get a little wet), and flanking a target using the longest and less visible from the enemy route possible. Trigger-Control. Using only 1-5 shots to eliminate an enemy combatant, engaging targets well within 100 ft (to optimize you hit-to-miss ratio, using red dots makes this very effective), and surrendering target within 30 ft so a potential shot won't give away your position (knowing when and how is the key). Recon. Prior to entering a area, scout out the area with what you see visually, if clear then move out, if indirect contact is taken (where you see the enemy but he doesn't see you) then get low and be patient unles target is within shooting range of 100 ft (longballing is bad and inaccurate). Radio your teammates what you see and get permission to engage a target from your Squad/Fireteam Leader before shooting.

Small-Unit Cohesion. What is it? Let's say you found your small 2 man unit up against a larger force of say 6 men, what do you? Tactical approach is bounding overwatch or tactical strike. With a tactical strike, you and your squadmate will chose two different targets, within a hidden or seen position usually behind cover, you will count to 3 and then engage your acquired target within range. Move forward then conduct a tactical strike again until all OpFor have been eliminated. Bounding overwatch is simple and you can find multiple website explaining it. Small Unit Cohesion provided that tactics and teamwork is a necessity within the unit will give a seemingly larger force look to your squad. So you know it's 2 v 6 but since your tactics are precise you enemy will think you have doubled or even tripled in numbers. It's why real world Navy SEALs are continuously successfully on today's battlefield.

I would love reveal more tactical secrets of SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team's SEAL Team 6, but needless to say anything else about ST6 is deemed classified (lol). You can visit www.socomtacticalteam.webs.com for additional info on our simulated SEAL Teams. Thank you!
  3. Scenario Operations Command Tactical Paintball Team

    16 July 2011 - 08:47 AM

SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team conducts several covert and clandestine missions, such as unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, psychological operations, Civil Affairs, direct action, counter-terrorism and War on Drugs operations (all Simulated).SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team's local and national performance in combat and noncombat areas has proven the value of a mature, culturally attuned, properly equipped, and adaptive Special Operations Force (SOF). Each SEAL Team under Scenario Operations Command's Tactical Paintball Team is unique and capable of running its own operations, but when the different Special Operations Forces need to work together for an operation, SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team becomes the joint component command of the operation, instead of a SOF of a specific SEAL Team. SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team's ultimate goal is 6 SEAL Teams.

SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team is driven, well-disciplined, and determined. We are a Military-Simulation Paintball Team with a focus on tactics and teamwork. We acknowledge our drive to excel on the playing field along with our competitive and honorable nature, but it is our dedication to each other and the camaraderie that exists within our ranks that separates us from the average team. When we select new members, to be inducted means that you will value and respect your fellow teammate more than you will any game or trophy. We were initiated in the summer of 2011. Our motto is "The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday"! SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team models itself after our nations U.S. Navy SEALs, in form and function. SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team does not, under any circumstances, wish to disrespect, discredit, or downgrade the Sailors who shed blood and sweat for this country; we only wish to represent the prestige honor, give high esteems to, and show our gratitude for thier daring service.

    What Is Scenario Operations Command?

I am proud to present to you the first magazine-fed/limited ammo paintball league in Colorado. Scenario Operations Command or SOCOM. SOCOM is a woodsball/scenario league divided into 3 divisions; Basic Infantry(rookie), Advanced Infantry (intermediate), and Special Operations Forces(pro). Unlike any other woodsball league we provide quality force-on-force combat to continually prove you are the best.

SOCOM is a honor-system based league in where the use of refs will not be allocated. Cheating is not allowed, if seen by host or brought to host you shall be kicked out off SOCOM tournaments.

SOCOM will be presented in OpsLand Paintball, our official area of operations. CQB Ops will be presented at American Paintball Coloseum Indoor and Outdoor fields. Time, date, and area of operations will be announced via http://www.tunka.com/ and here at this website under the title "Scenario Operations Command", and AAR's on events and stats and news will be posted when applicable. This keeps teams and players interactive and communication high.

In events we will do 2-5 player force on force combat, in where teams will have 30 minutes to accomplish the elimination of thier opposition. When you come to the field met and talk to the hosts, I , Josiah Parrish, or Dom Moreno, to sign your 2-5 man squads up in the appropriate division as mentioned earlier.  SOCOM is a tournament surrounding the MilSim and Scenario Player, doesnt cost a thing except for field and paint cost, and it put together for the enjoyment and appreciation of MilSim paintball. You can use the stats and results of your teams to gain sponsors or just say you beat another team.

SOCOM Mission Capmpaigns are designed specifically for our SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team's SEAL Teams, in whereas, SOCOM Operators are given the task of accomplishing missions objectives throughout a year-long campaign. SOCOM Mission Campaigns are branching in effect, to where if the SEAL Teams fail a mission or accomplishes secondary objectives, the decisions on the battlefield can effect the next mission within that campaign. Some missions may be intense and dangerous, while others may be loose and harmless, that all depends on the SEAL Teams and there decisions in combat. SOCOM Mission Campaigns allow other non-SOCOM Operators to act as OpFor during missions, or if you have a direct ally with SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team then a team may act as secondary Special Operations Force to assist the SEALs. SOCOM Tactical Paintball Team trains year-round to be fully equipped and mentally prepared for each campaign mission. For as in the real world, SOCOM Operators do not know what can happen in the unpredictable battlefield.

     Thank you!
