26 September 2011 - 09:42 AMTerminator: Dawn of Skynet
Skynet, a revolutionary artificial intelligence system built by Cyberdyne Systems, is in its infancy. As scientists and engineers frantically rush to complete last minute trial runs prior to their presentation to SAC and NORAD, a highly trained guerilla force quietly closes in on the Cyberdyne testing facility, deep in the remote wilderness of Washington state. Hired by a rival corporation based outside of the United States, the guerilla fighters have been tasked with capturing the Cyberdine facility and stealing key pieces of technology including the source code for Skynet and information on the "Terminator Program."
The first T-800 model of the Terminator class has just completed production and is in the process of being linked up with Skynet for the first time ahead of the upcoming demonstration. The uplink of the Terminator's functionality is interrupted by the sudden assault of the guerilla fighters and renders the T-800 functional, though not fully controllable by Skynet for the defense of the corporation. Both Cyberdyne sercurity personell and the guerilla fighters quickly realize that manual control of the Terminator can be managed from the testing lab of the facility, thus turning the T-800 into a fully functional weapons platform for whomever controls the lab.
Now, Cyberdyne security must hold off the assault on their own until military reinforcements can reach the remote testing facility. The guerillas will fight desperately to obtain the information that they need and escape before this happens.

04 June 2011 - 06:23 PMThis is a two part event based on the June 6th, 1944 invasion of Normandy by the Allies. There will be a four hour night game on June 17th beginning at 9 P.M. and a seven hour day game, including lunch, beginning at 10:00 A.M. on June 18th. This game will be held at Battlefront Paintball in Hubbard, Ohio. Please be sure you arrive several hours prior to each game so that you are ready to go at the horn for each event. Participation in the night game is only $6 if you pre-register and is not required to play in the day game. For those of you playing in the night game, camping is available onsite and is free of charge.
For 2011, we will continue with last year's theme of giving the team generals more control over the direction of the event. Generals will decide what type of missions to send their players on as well as when. They will not be restricted to a ridged schedule forced upon them by the scenario producer.
Revisions to the opening battle for Omaha beach have been made to make the experience more challenging as well as more enjoyable. Last year, there was a time frame that the producers followed where the initial German respawn slowly moved further away from the beach. This year it will be up to the Americans to push that respawn back by capturing key locations on the beach. Germans will continue to enjoy the high ground with the support of mortars that will be set up in town.

The superpowers of the world are at war. Fears of an impending nuclear apocalypse are on everyone’s lips. Critical shortages of gasoline, food and clean water have become an everyday occurrence, forcing once law abiding citizens to band together and take drastic action in order to stay alive. Sporting goods stores, now long out of business, have all been looted of their weapons. Some are used for personal protection. Most are used for personal acquisition. All pose a threat to those whom would keep the law.
The last standing Australian law enforcement organization, the Main Force Patrol, does what it can to keep order, but they now face an uphill struggle against the ever growing anarchist threat. Anarchy, however, as a system of rule is impossible by its own definition…
The events in this game will focus on the timeframe between the first two Mad Max movies. $1,200.00 in prizes will be up for grabs. Players will be able to directly influence their odds of taking home some goodies during the second half of the event. It all depends on how far they’re willing to go and who they’re willing to step on to get there…

LandingJune 6th, 1944.
More than 5,000 ships cut through the water towards Hitler’s Fortress Europe in the early morning hours as Allied airborne drop in behind enemy lines, heralding the start of The Longest Day. Sitting squarely on their shoulders are the “hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere.”
Clustered along the 50 miles of Normandy coastline, German defenses sit like a coiled spring, tensely awaiting their opportunity to hurl any would-be invaders back into the sea. Soon the ramps on the Allied landing craft will open with a groan and thousands of men will stream out, rushing through the din of explosions and acrid smoke towards an uncertain fate with steadfast determination. All of Europe and the free world’s future hangs on this moment.
On May 28th, join Synergy Paintball and 1st Strike Productions for The Longest Day. This scenario will place the leaders of each team in full control of the direction of the event, from what territories to assault and defend to what types of missions to send their troops on. Ultimately organization, leadership and teamwork will win the day.
