Topics I've Started
11 November 2009 - 01:27 PMNow i know X7 stocks are going to fit the phenom, and i've seen the air through commando stock, i'd like to know if there is a X7 commando stock without the air system, i have a normal (A2) stock for my a5 and if i do pick up a X7 Phenom i'd like to use the same style of stock with it, and do not feel like spending the extra money on the air stock.
10 November 2009 - 12:34 AMBeing a Political Scientist, policy issues always interest me, and so i bring to you a paintball related issue that has been dancing in my head since midsummer.
Most fields restrict firing modes, but not firing rate.
So when i note the ion user on the field talking about how by the time he's done pulling the tigger 22 rounds are in the air, i just have to wonder, why don't fields restrict BPS rather than the exact firing mode.
My A5 is never going to go beyond 15bps due to hardware limitations, or my brother's AT-85 which even in full auto mode gets only 12bps.
So where burst modes and full auto modes, and their 'safe' counterparts are often of limits, while turbo modes are normally in use.
Is the danger really in the firing mode, or rather in the rate of fire?
I know SPPL rules have a BPS limit, maybe fields and insurers might consider such a safer path.
and so ends the comments of your local semi-tired liberal
11 June 2009 - 06:46 PMhow do i know when the drive spring is at 0-ZERO winds - and is there a quick way to get it to said point, also which way holding the unit upwards parallel to my spine does it have to be turned?
thanks for any help in advance
28 May 2009 - 01:21 PMI want to build a custom remote setup
What kind of fittings should i be looking for?
22 May 2009 - 11:31 AMI'll be the first to admit that i have a overlarge head, not to mention my hair is rather thick meaning it is a pain to wash it after outings.
Normal store bought bandanas never cover enough always leaving just a bit open so i had taken to wrapping my head in just fabric clippings.
The Ban-du is nice because it covers one's entire head and then some, so even someone like me could keep everything nice and shielded.
The back part protects your neck from the sun and shots, i took at least 3 shots to the back of the neck and the bandu saved me from skin hits each time.
It also came in handy when i got shot in the back of the head by a teammate (mutter), still hurt but no hr long shower to clean out my hair.
On quality it was well made even if i did find a random string on it, but that was likely just something that got dropped on it at some point before shipping.
Since a star ranking really doesn't work for something as simple as a bandu, i'll use another way of supporting this grand item.
Buy It and you won't be sorry.
