Posts I've Made
07 February 2011 - 05:00 PMI did take a look, found most of the info pertainging to the LARPing and gardening...thought I was on the wrong spot!
What ammenities are available?
- Compressed air/CO2
- Paint Sales
- Food Sales
- Pro Shop
- Air Smith
We find a bit of info and I can start pointing the right folks your way from my west side contacts.
I am also always interested in finding new locations to produce 24 hour scenario games at.
At the moment we have outhouses and portapotties for restrooms, with plans for more permanent structures installed in a few weeks.
As for the other list items, we are in negotiations with a couple of local suppliers who are interested in coming out and free lancing their services and stock until we get set up ourselves.
07 February 2011 - 03:06 PMThank you Dryad!
I have some team mates over in that area...i shall send some folks your direction.
After looking....we need more info!
Krazy8, do you do Facebook? Right now much of the property info is there, under Dryads Rest. I'm having its own website built, but that's not quite ready yet, meanwhile the season is coming up, fast!
Meanwhile, here's the scoop -- so far we've been running boffer style LARP games, but I've been wanting to expand the games played to include paintballing (and maybe Airsoft) for a long time. We can build game scenarios for you or just let you run your own games. We are located in the foothills of the foothills of the Olympics, so there's some mild hill action in the topography, as well as large flat open areas. And trails, trails, trails! Fully fenced for security -- nobody can accidentally wander off or on, plenty of parking available. We are Lewis County, so we can have campfires, we have set up several small "outposts" and are building more skirmish areas, scattered throughout. Come play one day or an entire weekend -- camping encouraged!
It's halfway between Seattle and Portland, about sixteen miles west of Chehalis, off of Hwy 6. For more info (and photos, if you like) email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact me through Dryads Rest on Facebook.
06 February 2011 - 03:39 PMWelcome to the Forums JoAnne, glad you found us!
Always good to see more land being allowed to be used for this great sport. Good luck w/ getting things started on here.
This wasn't a bad place to start, but a better place might likely be in the Northwest Brigade sub-forum or the Woodsball sub-forum.
Again, glad to have you & hope you enjoy your time here.
Thank you, ger -- I'll check that out!
