  1. First Strike Charity Game 4/30 and 5/1

    24 February 2011 - 05:31 PM

We are pleased to announce another great First Strike Charity Paintball event produced by the great Hugh "Old One" from Mensrea Productions. For those who have played at First Strike you know that it is quite possibly the best diverse field in Florida if not the South. For those who have played games by Mensrea, they put such effort into their games and totally immerse you in their scenarios. Old One puts his heart into his games and it shows.
This game is special because all proceeds go to a local charity called The Phoenix Foundation. The foundation advocates and helps families of child sexual abuse. The foundation is trying to go mainstream and attain its 501©3 to expand the services offered to the children and their families.
The prices for this game are hard to beat anywhere in paintball. Especially for a two day event. Entry is a mere $20. All weekend air is $10. Paint is a mere $40 a case. So you know you can let the paint fly. :) We will be holding the scenario on Saturday as "The Alamo." It will be an attack and defend style utilizing the entire field and structures. Sunday will be called "Mayan Prophecies" and Old one will have to get us some more info for that one. Also going on will be individual competition exhibition events for awards such as snap shooting, top sniper, accuracy drills, etc...We will also be making this a family friendly event with activities for the whole family. Such as a mini Nerf field for the kids to play on. We are also asking each team to bring something "family friendly" for the kiddies. Night time will hopefully include a bonfire and "adult friendly" imbibing of drinks. We are also trying to work out an all weekend food vendor and several static displays like fire trucks and helicopters.
Lets try to show what paint ballers are all about. We can make this one of the biggest events in recent history. Generals will be announced as they come available. If you plan on attending, please hype this up with your friends, teams and families. Thanks for all your support and we hope to see you all soon.

I talked to Randy aobut the game today. He will be contacting you i guess. We talked about a ( 2 ) day "ALAMO" game. Apr 30, May 01. We would play during the day time only, and Randy said some about a Bar-B-Q Sat night. You may want to call Randy, and talk to him about any details.
