  1. Brute Force 2012: Cold War

    10 March 2012 - 07:14 PM

Team Brute Force is a professional big game and scenario paintball team based in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
In this episode, Brute Force traveled to Xtreme Paintball in East Windsor CT on January 21st, 2012. Brute Force Member Nolan Aldridge was honored by leading the Chinese side as the General.
The long fought and hard day had back and forth battles, the Chinese side went into the final battle down by over 60 points. But after a huge rush in the start of the final battle the Chinese kept the USA back in their respond point for the entire half hour thus winning the game.

Welcome to another freshly-cut piece of my paintball philosophy; served on this sheet of warm, pixelated paper for your reading enjoyment. Let me queue you in on a little secret that's not a secret anymore because I'm telling you it.

Over the last few weeks, I've been working behind the scenes on a new paintball webshow called Breakout. The show is about the world of paintball, and what goes on in that world. While creating the show, the producers and I have had to dig into the core of paintball, trying to unveil the secret that's kept paintball thriving. In our quest we've come to some interesting realizations about the sport. These realizations have had me contemplating my paintball existence for endless nights, and are the source code for this blog post.

Let me warn you now: Put on your comfiest silk robe, grab your favorite corn cobb pipe, put that old Bach record on the turntable, and cuddle your favorite cat by the fire, because it's time for a solemn story from yours truly.

To read the rest of this little story head on over to Bryce's Blog. It's a good story, if I may say so myself.

Considering how most guys on here are scenario guys, I assume you know about the little-girl drama that comes with the sport. Frankly, in my mind it's all bullcrap. Just people diving for attention in every way they can. That's why I choose to just focus on the game, and ignore all the junk that goes with it. Remember when you just started playing paintball? Wouldn't it be great to just get on the field every day and feel like that again?

What's your opinion on paintball drama? I've talked enough about it, let's see what you hink.
