14 May 2010 - 05:46 AMI swear that it was on this forum somewhere...Someone was offering a custom paint job, and he showed a sample on a deer skull. I can't seem to find it, even with the search. Does anyone know where that thread went? I wanted to write it down to keep in mind for the future. Thanks.
Edit: Go figure...as soon as a I post something asking about it...I find what I'm looking for. It was under news.
13 May 2010 - 10:52 AMI'm almost 100% positive that I'm going to be getting a Tiberius T9.1 this summer. I want to run it off of the mags, not off of a hopper. However, I don't want to only have one or two mags and be constantly reloading them on the field. That's not practical at all.
So, I'll be buying some spare mags when they release the gasless mags (more economical). This leads me to my problem. Where am I going to put those mags where they will be readily reachable for quick reloads?
I almost always wear a ghillie suit (although I'm thinking about getting a second set of clothes for when I play at the local field because my ghillie suit doesn't do anything there). The tri-mag holder offered by Tiberius Arms isn't going to work well because of my ghillie suit. The custom PPP pack done by FEAR/SpecialOps paintball looks neat...but I'd be putting the mags under the back side of the suit. That would make it a pain to not only reach behind and pull a mag out, but also to put the spent one back. While I'm using my ghillie, that option is out.
Are there any vests that you guys might recommend me? Maybe I'll have to go with something custom. Regardless, any advice you guys might have to offer me would be greatly appreciated.
29 April 2010 - 05:17 AMHey. I've never owned a Longbow stock, never used one, never touched one. I've actually never used a stock before.
This summer I'm looking at picking up the T9.1 (I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it) and a stock comes with the marker. I've heard good things about the Longbow stock, but what I want to know is what exactly separates it from other stocks. Why would it be superior to what comes on the T9.1 for example? Any input would be helpful.
28 April 2010 - 05:20 PMThe topic says it all. How many of us are also martial artists? What do you or what have you studied, and for how long? What got you started?
I started off with Shotokan Karate when I was just a kid, but it didn't last long. I got into Taekwondo about 4 or 5 years ago, and I lasted until I found Hapkido. I've been doing Hapkido for 2 years now I think. I want to say three, but the truth is I really don't know. I did a little bit if Judo (it's neat, but it's not for me) and I'm also currently doing Kuhapdo (similar to Japanese Iaido) under my Hapkido instructor.
25 April 2010 - 12:33 PMI'm not exactly rolling in cash, and I want to be able to find out all I can before I make an investment. I'm really interested in the T9.1. I'm pretty sure they went on sale recently...does anyone have one yet? Any opinions you can give me? Any information is greatly appreciated.
