Never forget that best = subjective.

In my 14 or 15 years playing, I've had just about everything under the sun. I currently own an ICD FS8 with a Nox board that I picked up for exactly $250. For the money, they're phenomenal markers. Fast shooters with no kick, good construction, middle of the pack efficiency (1400-1500 shots from a 68/4500) and they're built on the same design as the much more modern (and expensive) Dye NT and PE Geo.

Would I recommend one to everyone? No, probably not. You say you already have two guns that are broken. I hate to judge you by that, but I have to. For a player with a penchant for breaking markers and seemingly unable to fix them himself, I'd have to recommend something a bit more foolproof, like a poppet-valved electro. An older Ego or Etek might be the marker for you, or the equivalent Intimidator, Protege, F8, etc. They tend to take more abuse from less-than-tech-savvy owners.

You mentioned possibly saving for the Etek3. If attainable, that could also be a great choice. From what I've seen, they're quite rugged and good little performers.

Best of luck deciding! One amazing thing about paintball is the wide variety of gear we have to choose from. Find the one that's best for you.

im not rugged with my guns just there kind of crappy guns ones an old spyder victor and the only thing broken is the ball detents i fixed that already and all i need to fix on my syder pilot acs is the bored and replace an o ring in the exspansion chamber but im sure evryone would agree that those guns kinda suck and i actually wanted to get a better gun thats all thanks for the response though
