I am surprised that Tippmann has not been attacked by H&K yet. The A5 resembles an MP5 variant.

Tippmann is also under Kee Action Sports (thats what Im assuming considering they own BT and BT and Tippmann are sister companies).

Summit Partners is the majority owner of Tippmann Sports LLC.

KEE Action Sports is owned by Angelo, Gordon, & Co.

BT was started by Ben Tippmann (a relative of Dennis Tippmann Sr.) after leaving his job at Tippmann Pneumatics.

  5. In Topic: what is the the art of retreat ?

    23 June 2010 - 06:46 PM

I spent a whole summer drilling my team on retreat many long moons ago. There were three main lessons I learned.

    1) Getting a retreat started is easy, stopping it is hard.
    2) You have to pick the retreat line on the way forward and point out to the team that this is where the retreat stops
    3) It is preferable if there is a lot of open ground in front of your retreat line. It makes shooting the opposing force a lot easier when they have to advance across it.
