Posts I've Made
12 January 2010 - 05:40 AMWell he did good in the game, however during the down time he was not real good about marker safety. It was the most frustrating part of the day. I had to remind him a lot that he was pointing his marker. I think he was just excited and wanting to get back into the game. The weather has been bitter cold and I jokingly ask if he wants to go out woodballing and he always says yes. The first weekend of Feb. I am taking him to a indoor field(speedball) so we can get a little gun time.
25 December 2009 - 06:38 PMWell I took my son out this last weekend. He was excited to go but as the day got closer he began to voice concerns that he did not want to get hit. I told him "then don't get hit"
We go out to the field and the first game he takes a shot to the hand. I have to say I was worried at this point that he would not want to play. I have been hit in the finger about were my son got hit and it was a painful hit. Well he piped up and took it like a good woodballer. We ended up playing for 4 hours and he took several shots. To the shoulder and arm and legs. He did well in taking hits. He is pretty hard to hit because of his size and wastes a lot of balls at shots that I think where well out of range. He needs to improve in the game but as for getting hit he was a real trooper.
27 November 2009 - 09:35 AMI am working on getting infor on the tank, what I do know is it is clean. The tank is huge it stands about 10' feet at least. The regulator on it reads 6000 and I know that it supplies 120 psi through out the plant and also to several large pieces of machinary. I am still working on information. Don't worry I won't be number 4 I am a very cautious person. I am going to investigate a lot before going to any means of doing things.
15 November 2009 - 05:37 PMWell I played today and my son went with me. He mostly was are camera man just take pics.. He was very worried about getting hit and did not get many pics of us when we were actually in a fire fight. However at the end of the day, he asked me to shoot him. So me being a good dad shot my kid. he took a hit on the hip and was good told me he didn't feel it. I will let him pick a gun up next time I am letting him pack a gun and give it a real try under real woodball conditions. I will keep you posted probally next weekend depending on weather.
01 November 2009 - 09:50 PMDon't forget the protection. You never no when you might get into the bush and need to cover your barrel up and protect it.
