Jamie- Oh sure, refs need 'em, but I wouldn't go spending that kind of money on such a watch then risk it getting scratched and banged up. Even as a ref.

Yeah, I would say that would be pretty stupid to wear a $1600 watch during a game... The cheaper $100 ones I would have no problem wearing though. There will be a few companies falling in line here that may not have anything direct relation to paintball. If we see a benefit, why not offer it. Ya know...

Most of the companies will absolutely be paintball oriented.

They all sent me "sponsorship" requests also. Nothing more then 30% off discounts. No thank you.

To you, sure, they're not needed. But for the regular joe player, it's definatly helpful. However, the only use I see from any of those companies is obviously Pinokio. Really now...who the hell is going to wear a rockwell watch during a game? And how does it lend to playing?

deltapaintball - Who said nothing more than 30 % off. The offers are absolutely up to the sponsors as to how much of a discount.

CptObvious - A ref will wear a watch, I know I wear one so my wife doesn't get pissed because I was late coming home lol We get the companies who can offer something to the players. They may not be "Main Stream" Sponsors, but if it benefits you, use it.

I like mounting on the helmet too. Epic is sponsoring P Ballers on our site right now. Check 'em out. I think they sent out over 100 offers today alone!!!

This is simple to me. If you get a 40% discount as a sponsored player, you purchase a gun that is obviously over $150, You save $60!!! That is on the purchase of 1 item!!!

If its not your bag to do this, no worries. But why not give it a shot just to see what you get??? For god sake it is FREE to try it out!!!

OK enough from me. Thanks for the look and have a great day.
