Topics I've Started

  1. Anyone know of good zombies movies

    05 November 2009 - 01:08 PM

I'm mainly asking because I've watched both Night of the Dead, both Day of the Dead, both Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and Diary of the Dead way to many times because I can fall asleep during them and quote them fairly accurately. All of which are by George A. Romaro except the remake of Day of the Dead. I've watched and own Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, The Evil Dead, The Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, and Resident Evil Apocalypse. I'm not even sure if the Evil Dead and Army of Darkness movies classify as zombie movies. I've seen the other Resident Evil movies and really wasn't impressed with them. I've also seen Zombie Diarys which I thought sucked, unless you like the first person filming.

I'm really looking for a good zombie movie that I can switch out with all the other ones I've watched and seen probably at least 50 times each. If you got any other good horror films in mind also let me know.
  2. Tips about Tippmann ProLite

    23 October 2009 - 09:40 AM

Okay. I have a Tippmann ProLite that I love. One problem I had was that I went paintballing with some of my friends and my gun chronoed just fine. I'm finguring about half way through day the velosity screw must have fallen out. I find out that at the next game I go to that I can't use my ProLite due to the fact that the fps was too high. I talked to the owner of the field who had some knowledge about the older Tippmanns, to find out that the velosity screw is on the bottom of the gun and has a tendacy to fall out. So the lesson here is if you have a ProLite make sure the velosity screw is in before going to the field and bring extras.

It also had a leaking issue where it wouldn't even fire as well as it should. I had to dissassemble the gun and replace the o-rings. Once the o-rings were replaced the gun was fine, and is one of my favorite guns.

If anybody has more info on the Tippman ProLites and would like to share go for it.
