    its a coyotes or dog with a bad case of mange which causes raw skin and hair loss due to excessive scratching and biting from the parasites
    this disease is quite common but when severe cases happen in the southern states the sun can often burn the animal plus the fact that the animal usually chews its self raw will leave massive scarring and leave the animal hairless and in severe pain
    it's quite better for the animal that they shot it IMO
