18 June 2009 - 12:38 PMAhh, gotcha. Two cases a day would be pretty impressive if you played woods, though I could see that happening with speedball.
im shooting with an A-5 w/ RT, so i go through maybe 2 bags a day, but i always buy a full case for $70 cause its better then $40 for just 2 bags each time.. and when i say $160, that includes gas, food, playing, and random other items...but its money well spent if you ask me!
Hi Velocity in Coram, Cousins in Coram. If youre out east, come check em out.
09 May 2009 - 01:47 AMI tried one for a day. That's all I'll use one for.
It's not any more comfortable than my Grill, but the grill got me a couple bounces. I took a mask hit wearing the Save Phace mask (forget which exact one, it looked like a skull *oooh, scary*)
I almost asked the ref to chrono the guy that shot me because of the impact on it.
Yea its very deceiving. I would hate to get lit up by one, it might be deafening.
I was litup in one(scar phace) and it sounded like hailstones on a barn roof. definitely know when you get hit(THUKTHUKTHUKTHUKTHUK!!!!!!!!!!) i wear a vforce grill now, half the price, double the coverage.
05 May 2009 - 02:03 AMhows the foam in the mask?....is it like the ones they use for boating 'cause those are sooooo comfortable....
the only thing i dont like about them is the coverage, the forehead is too high and the mask is too small.....
yes. i sustained multiple hits to the jaw and cheek. also i dont know if this was touched on, but this mask is hard plastic. no bouncers off this mask and you fell every hit.
17 April 2009 - 03:30 AMCorrect. This is the PRODUCT reviews area. In order to post a thread here, you need to have your review of the product posted. Otherwise, this belongs in the Paintball Masks section of General Paintball Discussions.
I agree with him. I called Save Phace (in a rush) i needed a custom mask fast. I called and they happened to have a Scar Phace in stock. Boy whatta mask! and also the guy I spoke with was in no rush to get off the phone either and yes I was also at work at the time. anyway this is a great mask, albeit the jawbone exposed like was said before. the degree of vision is great and it seems impossible to fog the lenses. great mask.
17 April 2009 - 03:23 AMNever really liked Save Phace masks. But that first one gets me. Pull the top visor thingy off (like in pic), and I would use it. Coverage isn't great.. But then again, I wear E-Vents... They actually give me some good coverage though.
I got mine in the Scar Phace paintjob. Very scary and Ive scored some kills from guys reluctantant to drop the hammer on me. it doesnt really cover the jaw line per se, but i wear a neck protector, and ive never gotten hit in the jaw. it would suck though.
