08 January 2011 - 08:09 PMPlaying paintball next saturday after about 4 months of not having enough money, and convinced a (hot) girl to join me
29 December 2009 - 02:01 PMYeah, I still get excited when I know some new piece of paintball gear (or anything I have wanted for a while) coming in the mail for me.
I haven't really bought anything big that requires much preparing for (like a marker), but I definitely want to try out a new marker mod, vest, or jersey immediately after it comes
01 November 2009 - 02:08 PMI played paintball on Halloween My local field had a Halloween mini-scenario w/free lunch and prizes. They had a contest for best decorated non-carved pumpkin (posted on the flyers for the game), with the prize being a free case of $65 paint. I was the only one who entered, so now I dont have to pay for paint next time I play The game was excellent, instead of the usual 15-20min games, they had 30min-1hr games. However, all but the last 10 minutes were unlimited respawns, which was different from what they usually do. I got 13 people out and was only shot out 4 times (including the times I was allowed to respawn). Oh yeah, and I ran full "bunker sprint" speed into a branch during the last game I played My mask was a little fogged, and it doesn't have very good upwards periphiral vision, so I hit a low-hanging tree branch and scratched up my face pretty good, and almost knocked my mask off. I couldn't run to another bunker for about 3-5min, so everyone knew where I was. Luckily, the red team was occupied with holding the fort, so I didn't get shot while I was down. The game was still great, and I think our team won every game we played.
30 June 2009 - 04:14 AMThanks for the advice! Actually, I found an INSANE deal on craigslist, and I have the money, I might buy it.
30 June 2009 - 04:09 AMI usually check my gear the day before, set my gear up the night before, wake up, put my paintball clothes on, and go to the field. However, I usually host a large group, so I also usually have to bring a few gallons of gatorade and maybe sandwiches, along with some backup gear.
