Posts I've Made
12 November 2009 - 07:37 PMHave fun kids. My life is in transition and I'll see ya'll around the bend sometime. I'll post more info soon on my new home.
Btw, Mathew, Dewey's has some awesome calzones.
06 November 2009 - 05:01 PMger,
I should have thought to look for you as well since I remember you went to Battlefront's World at War scenario when Scoobshagg and I went. We did have two Shadowjackal's for Stalingrad since he had a friend who used his second vest. I had "Bandit" on my vest along with camo applied to my i4. I remember the beginning of the Volga battle (our group was in the field facing your left flank) and seeing a group of red go far to our right (your left) looking for a way around the river and than they turned back. So thank you for that but on my far left, on my 2nd insert, is where the rules were being bent. But water under the bridge as it was still a fun time. Next time we will let you know ahead of time when a part of our group attends.
Happy hunting this winter,
06 November 2009 - 10:43 AMSad news indeed Shadowjackal.
Thanks again for that great pic from Battlefront. It turned out rather well considering those who were in it.
02 November 2009 - 07:29 AMI concur. Telling everyone to use "semi-auto only" hurts the Tippmann users and empowers the skilled electro users. I ran into that problem my first and only time out to Marrietta where they have the same rule and me and my A-5 were getting ripped to shreds by skilled electro users in terms of firepower. So something like a 10 or 12 bps cap makes sense to me as this is actually a slower rate of fire compared to semi-auto (where one trigger pull per one ball shot is the definition of semi-auto) where skilled fingers like Andrews can reach 25bps or us other electro users can hit 15 to 18 on average. I would vote for 10bps as this seems to be on par with a Tippmann on full auto. Tippmann says their markers can shoot up to 15bps but I think it's really more like 10 or 12 in my opinion. If we cap the bps at 10 (NPPL rules) and even than do not allow Tippman users to go full auto than this would still be a better solution than just saying "semi-auto only." So I put forth the field rule of "10bps cap" and no full auto or three round burst.
Btw, keep in mind that I may not even be at the Luke game and since it is LUKE'S game his opinion on this matter is the only one that really counts!
JKR's thinking: "We should just have pump only games and not mess with this bps crap..."
28 October 2009 - 06:18 PMI heard from a little fly err BuzzKill that the game is at Lukes.
This quote reminded me of Last Saturday at Battlefront:
"We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies Things." -Chesty Puller (Guadalcanal WWII)
Frodo hasn't added any friends yet.
