25 June 2009 - 02:52 PMNice, mine would carry more paint but the hose and "gun" would be about the same.
25 June 2009 - 12:01 PMI have been looking at the ww2 flamethrowers and you could make one that runs off of an air tank and runs at 100-250psi. The basic system is 3 steel pipes on your back with an air tank on the top. Every thing would fit on a frame pack.
25 June 2009 - 11:02 AMI shoot a tippmann so im not worryed about that. Just think of it as lube for the parts.
24 June 2009 - 05:45 PMhmmm, why not a flamethrower that uses broken paintball shells and small amounts of paint, basically broken paintballs lying around. and then some very low pressure air can propel it say 25 feet or so? this way:
1. the paint costs nothing, you can litteraly pick it up from the ground to use it
2. it wont get you soaked because its essentialy just broken paint shells and paint which forms a mist
3. all that it needs is very low pressure air to fuel it, which means it wont cost much for air
just a thought
That is alot harder to build then you think.
31 January 2009 - 10:36 AMflamethorwers just make no sense. to me at least. and I know I would be really really mad if someone soaked me with paint. I dont care if its washable I wouldnt want to play after I've been covered.
your going to get coverd in paint any way from splater so does it realy matter?
