13 April 2009 - 02:16 AMThe Great Lakes Rangers are excited to announce four new additions to the family: Tippmann, The Underground Mod Shop, Smokin' Products, and Coca Cola of Grand Rapids, MI!
Everyone in paintball knows Tippmann. It's hard not to. Their markers are world renowned for their quality and durability. The Great Lakes Rangers are pleased to announce that they will be joining forces with Tippmann for the '09 and '10 seasons.
Many of you are familiar with the UMS or it's products, as Britt has been a long time supporter of Tippmann owners the world over. If you haven't seen one of his parts, you probably haven't played the game. Britt makes some of the highest quality custom parts out there, and we are very proud to have him as a sponsor. We're also very giddy to see what he comes up with for the TPX...
Tony with Smokin' Products has revolutionized thinking about paintball attire. His pants are a perfect example, with the durability of BDU's and the comfort and functionality of a high dollar paintball jersey pant. If you're tired of having unintentional air conditioning in the middle of a game, you really need a set of Smokin' pants.
And does Coke really need an introduction? Grand Rapids Coca-Cola has been a gracious sponsor since the summer of 2008, and we enjoy the continued partnership through 2009 and beyond.
28 January 2008 - 04:45 AMAs you all may have read or witnessed firsthand, Team Tippmann had it's first loss in quite a while last year at the Tippmann World Challenge. This was in no doubt due to the fact that the Smart Corps were there along with the Grassy Knoll Gunmen to help organize the world team. I personally feel especially guilty since this was the first TWC that I did not attend since I started playing paintball with a Tippmann.
As a Tippmann owner, I feel like this was a huge slap in the face, and as a result, we (the Great Lakes Rangers) are taking steps early this year to ensure that there WILL NOT be a repeat. The Tippmann team as a whole is always very well organized. This year we plan on taking it one step further by having a quick response black ops squad that will be tasked with ensuring victory for our side, running missions as set forth by the General. This will require dedication to the mission, not to individual firefights, and a knowledge that you will be fighting for the greater good of the team, not for individual glory.
So, if you're interested in restoring Team Tippmann's winning streak, head over to the Hell Survivors forum and post up your intentions of attending and participaing in this endeavor. My teammate Firebase is spearheading this operation, and the way he takes care of business, none of you will be disappointed.
