Why do you guys start these arguments?

Nobody ever wins...most of the gun ppl have stupid arguments the non gun supports have equally stupid yet more realistic arguments and depending on where you live/how you were raised you see things like guns completely differnt.

You know by stating your opinion on certain things its gunna start a fight and even when your right fighting in forums just makes you seem like a huge tool.

Fighting on the internet is like the special olympics even if you win your still retarded.

    /cosign, minus the grammatical errors.

I'll be the bastard to state it, but after modding or otherwise participating in a ridiculous number of interwebz forums/BBSs since the mid-90's, SpecOps is pretty close to the top in the poorly-modded category. While off-paintball-conversation should of course be allowed & encouraged, the virtual reprint of NRA or MoveOn.org email propaganda should not.

I'm all for thoughtful discussion, but the constant "Obama gonna take our gunz" & "Bush is an idiot" threads are a *huge* turn-off & overall deterrent.

Anybody that walks into a live action G.I Joe movie and expects an Oscar contender is probably not allowed to walk outside without a helmet.

Exactly. It was certainly fun, but my only complaint is that it should have come out sometime during the mid to late-eighties when I was wishing for it to do so on a daily basis.

And for the record, D9 was great, especially the second half. Neill Blomkamp (creator of the "Halo: Landfall" proof-of concept shorts) is going to be huge one day. Mark my words.

I am shopping for a sling-shot as I type this, & am very much looking forward to the game.

Yep. Ima be a dad, and the dues dates march 15. I'm gonna save this post for ultrasounds and stuff.

    what should we name it?

by the way, what happened to the forum?

Whew, thank God it's not me. :dodgy:

Grats though. I can't imagine what I'd do if I didn't have kids. Well, actually I do imagine from time to time but I think in the end life w/ kids is a bit more fun anyhow.

Most Colleges/Universities either auction off or otherwise sell their electronics to the public every year or two (massive waste of tax-payer & tuition $$$, btw) @ incredibly discounted prices. While it may not help you out of your current bind, the sales are typically held @ or near the end of the school year, so you may want to either look into that or @ least keep an eye out.
