20 October 2008 - 03:13 PMMy personal worst so far has been this guy who had a full out Qbow. I have been shot on bare skin before but nothing ever like that one soft spot directly behind your ear. It hurt for awhile and made my ear ring for a few days, as well as the nasty bleeding welt it left. Turns out his gun was nowhere near regulation 300 Fps.
worst ive seen to someone else has to be this first time out paintballing kid, he decided to sprint through the forest, tripped and faceplanted into an oak tree. One shattered lense, broken nose and a bit of blood later.
20 October 2008 - 03:04 PMI see your point, you are partially right but you dont want to have something like Monster Balls which are like rocks when they hit you, http://www.youtube.c...h?v=mKqpYVvhuxs because they hurt like ****
Wow that stuff is terrible paint! If someone shot me with that and i inquired with them what paint there were shooting i have a feeling i would have to punch them out right then and there...
19 October 2008 - 05:35 PMTalk to a counselor at your school, they will probably know. Laws can vary by state, but usually you cannot do jobs that have inherent dangers till you're 16.
You will probably get jobs easiest in a non-commercial sense, like bablysitting and yard work. I know those aren't the best, but, you just have to wait.
I'm 14 too so I know what you mean.
If you know anyone who works as a mechanic you could always be a shop hand(gather tools, clean them and such)
19 October 2008 - 05:16 PMIf you quit, where will I get my fix for awesome Pump videos?
my bro will pick up the slack
yeah guys im gunna take a break for a while..ill just reff and not play..i gotta be able to get into a police academy, so im gunna take a break on paintball for a while
Police academy? Me too!
and i sometimes have problems with my knees aswell, i think it stems from rugby and going skydiving once. I usually just bring along an anti-inflammatory drug like tylenol or advil... whichever eases swelling in joints.
19 October 2008 - 05:09 PMDont forget the "mock silencer" as being anything but cosmetic.
EDIT: Oh and rifled barrels for paintballs?... useless if you ask me.
