12 May 2010 - 09:29 PMIm going to my first big game this weekend a "24 hr" battlestar galactica themed game http://www.brpaintba...0Big%20Game.htm
I have never been to such a game and am just curious to what I should plan for. I have a bad knee so I know I have to take it easy on the legs but what do you all generally bring and do you have any gameplay tips?
25 March 2010 - 08:24 PMI recently got a Tiberius 8 and I WANT to love this marker I really do.
However it has been over feeding since the first load of paint I put in it. Basically I tried firing it and blew a load of paint and shell bits out the barrel in one shot, took out the magazine and found out all but 2 paintballs were in the barrel when I fired.
So after a thorough cleaning (and learning that these guns are not that intimidating to disassemble) I tried loading it up with more paint and all the paint I have used has fed right past the detents, usually half the magazine or more.
Fact is: The marker is new, both detents are in correctly, and I thought it was the paint however ive used three brands of paint (I don't know the brands I just know it was all three levels the field I went to sold "basic" "mid grade" "high grade") and all have over fed.
So does anyone know what is going on with my marker?
02 December 2008 - 11:38 PMAs the title says, does anyone know if you can mount the ion regulator horizontally?
or if it could be mounted in any other way safely (as in able to take a direct hit and not ruin the gun)
15 October 2008 - 07:31 AMSo I'm new to these forums (been on the brigade for a bit) and had a question/dilemma for all of you fellow SP/ Ion owners.
This summer I'm planning on going to Oklahoma D-Day (probably joining up with the 1st infantry) and it will be my first scenario game.
I currently own an ion that i have had for about 2.5 years now, and i love it. Good accuracy, never chopped a single paintball, and has only presented me with the problem of eating 9 volts
so here is the big problem, at OKDDAY I have heard they have major rain, high humidity, and all kinds of other water/weather problems. So question one: Do I have to worry about this ruining my Ion and/or
knocking me out of play?
the second part of my dilemma is that I want my ion to be more milsim and scenario friendly, and i was wondering A) if anyone knew where i could get the cheapest priced stock for an ion and what electronic
hopper has the smallest profile? (i currently have and evolution 2 'egg' hopper and about 4 out of 10 of hits against me are on the dang thing) and C) if anyone suggests the warp feed or q-loader how reliable are
they really? I cannot really afford having a q-pod break balls on me in the middle of a game
Thanks for your time!
