Posts I've Made
31 May 2012 - 11:17 AMIll admit that I used to wipe. It started out as wiping shots that were "ridiculous", then it moved to some times even when it was clear I would wipe, but then I really grew up and saw that it really sucks and it makes people not want to play the game and thats the last thing I want to do. I remember many times when I first started out where I would shoot someone and it was clear as day, they would disapear and then like a minute later pop back out and shoot me, it almost made me walk away from the game but you just have to except that as a paintball player, there are going to be "those hits" that are crazy and that come out of nowhere, but someone shot you and thats the name of the game....now get off the field
tl;dr Its paintball, dont wipe cuz your taking away the fun from the game

05 May 2012 - 10:50 PMHahaha, I had a good laugh with this article!
I used to be the "The Super Special Milsim Ranger Black Ops Sniper Guy", then I just kind of grew out of it...
I remember one time, I moved up behind some trees and I stopped, I thought I heard someone moving and I just stood still. They came walking through the brush and he stopped and we locked eyes for easily 5 - 10 seconds. I then proceeded to fall backwards while shooting in his general direction....
...I shot him like 10 times....
I felt so bad afterwards but we actually had a pretty good laugh about the whole thing!
Nice article, thanks for sharing
05 May 2012 - 10:31 PMI think that all together, Paintball has done really well to ride this economic storm out.
I live in Minnesota and the local paintball store is expanding and their field is getting bigger as well. Whenever I can find the time to get out there the place is full so thats always good to see.
Also, a lot of the younger generation is still interested in doing things OUTSIDE! (surprisingly... ) What Ive noticed is that a lot of newer players either A.) Had the sport "handed down to them" by an older sibling, or B.) Wanted to shoot people and play games "like in Call of Duty, I want to play zombies" (Actual quote )
Paintball has survived because the people that play it cant get enough of it! We will make it through this storm..
05 May 2012 - 10:20 PMWow....how in the world did this thread survive 3 years and its still on the front page of the Gen Discussion forum....awsome!
