Topics I've Started
17 October 2008 - 03:40 PMI am selling a Crossfire 68/4500 HPA tank, it has a low pressure output regulator. I bought it at first with the plan of swapping the factory reg with a Guerrilla Air Myth. This is until I found out that Crossfires have the fastest recharge rate on the market, so it wouldn't have been worth my time or $$.
The previous owner had it re-hydroed this month before selling it to me, so you're good until 10/2013. Carbon fiber wrap is in perfect shape, the last owner used a cover at all times. ASA tip has very slight denting(hardly enough to mention), and its threads are in perfect condition. Has a fresh oiled o-ring on it and will include a couple extra on me.
Listed on Ebay(why my username is in the pics) and Craigslist, so act quickly! PM me if you're interested or have a question.

12 October 2008 - 04:46 PMHey guys this one has me stumped and frustrated lol. Recently got an A5 with RT already installed. Put on an APEX barrel and a JCS Voodoo stock w/ a RVA. Test it out the day before going to the fields and it shoots like a dream- had the RT tuned to 3 shot bursts and not a single chop or empty shot. Took about 250 shots.
Onto the problem: At the field I gas it up w/ HPA (same as day before) and go to chrono and the SOB will only shoot every 2nd or 3rd shot, unless I manually cycle the cyclone. No internal changes were made in the time between tests besides adding a little silicone lube to the ratchet/piston joint and underneath the ratchet. Had plenty time to work itself out in the day, I loosened the bottom of the cyclone housing, checked the banjo fittings to make sure everything is lined up and it is.
I think it's the stock. It has no attached padding for the blowback of the rear bolt so JCS has ya drop in a loose O-ring onto the back of it. So, I put the stock rear plug back on and the cyclone seems to be feeding alright now (w/ HPA, no paint though).
So, how can I get this Voodoo stock to work?
10 October 2008 - 03:38 PMRecently got a RVA on my A5 and am curious about JCS's gold power tube and if it delivers what it promises. Since the RVA really is just fine adjustment, I guess I would consider a spring kit as well. Any thoughts/ opinions?
09 October 2008 - 06:19 PMI recently made a purchase from Hustle Paintball that included a RAP4 (they call it "Pathogen" as their own brand I found out) remote line with QD, some pods, and a NXe 4+1 harness. No complaints on anything except the remote line.
I originally ordered a Kingman line with slide check and they called and suggested I try the "high quality" RAP4 for $10 less and w/o the "pointless" slide check. I'm new to paintball, so what the hell. I oil the nipple (feel dirty typin that) every time I use the QD and STILL that teeny o-ring gets torn up after a couple days of PB.
I made the switch to HPA but can't try it out with my line b/c of the shredded o-ring. My cuz has one of those big sets of O-rings from a dive shop so my fingers are crossed to make it out this weekend...
Oh yeah "official" replacements are $2 US/each and $10 to ship! C'mon now RAP4. Hope I save someone from this trouble.
01 October 2008 - 11:51 AMMy A5 is about a year and a half old, and I'm confused about one step for installing the RT. It says to use a hose insert that you stick in the hose between the cyclone piston and in-valve for the gun. The insert is a little metal cylinder piece that would force the air to go through a hole about the diameter of a toothpick. Do I need to put that in?
EDIT: Can't find anything on the net and the manual says to use it if your A5 "does not have a plug"(??). That's the part that's confusing me.
