Posts I've Made
18 December 2010 - 09:38 PMNope. I think it's ugly. Plus you can make an equally smooth pump out of some CCM parts and whatever body you think looks good, and it'll cost you a lot less. I do want a Blazer, though.
TNP wants a Sterling STP. An old one.
17 December 2010 - 12:14 AMAbsolutely I'd love to have one. Many, many years ago, I had a raffle ticket that was one number away from winning one of those. If I'd bought two tickets, I'd probably still have it. Interestingly, the exact same thing happened only a few years ago with one of the first Ma-Deuce-A's that KPCS came out with, back when he was doing full-blocked markers.
Since we're on the subject of multiple barrels, why not multiple markers? Staying away from the annoyingly heavy Double Trouble or titanically beefy Quadzilla, TNP wants a Palmer's Grinder (I know, I've already done a marker from them, but I've been on a bit of a PPS bender lately).
16 December 2010 - 11:52 PMHow could you not want that ego...easily the sexiest gun ever. of all time.
On what planet? You turn up at a field hoping to see something special. And there, lo and behold, in the hands of someone too busy talking about how "cool" his marker is to actually play a game with it, is yet another Ego, except this one has some Aurora parts on it. I'm sorry, but Egos just aren't cool. Cool is a Warp feed mounted on a Rainmaker that is powered by a Morlock board; something that no one else on that field (or possibly anywhere) has. I think the only way you can make an Ego interesting anymore is if you were to ditch the body in favor of something similar to Doc Nickel's Vee-Twin, any of the Palmer's Nasty series (over/under FTW), or KPCS's Ma-Deuce-A.
But I digress. Back to the game:
I'm afraid I'm not a big Karni fan. Never seen the appeal in the body, although I do like the hidden cocking rod. However, you put an mQ in there and something other than an E1 board, and it shoots like a dream. Yeah, I'll take it.
Since we're already thinking about double barreled markers, TNP wants some iteration of a Palmer's Pursuit Nasty Typhoon. I got to hold my first one recently, and those things are pieces of artwork.
10 December 2010 - 03:56 PMNot really, I've never been fond of how Egos feel. Or really any balanced poppet, now that I think of it.
If TNP likes smooth, they'll definitely want an old Belsales Evolution
10 December 2010 - 06:53 AMI'd love one.
TNP wants a Duckslide Phantom.
