Topics I've Started
08 October 2008 - 03:37 AMI know that half the threads in this forum are all, "Oh, should I get this, or this," ... or "Which marker/barrel is better???" So, I apologize in advance for another one of "those" threads. Mainly though, I'm just looking for some friendly advice.
I'm looking to make one more good barrel investment for my Tippy A-5. Currently, I own these barrels for it:
14" J&J S2 Ceramic
14" Freak Barrel Set (with 6 insertrs)
16" Smart Parts Progressive (SP, yeah yeah, I know, but it was my first barrel)
I'm not looking for any specific brand or length of barrel. I'm just looking for YOUR input on experience you've had with various barrels you liked on your A-5, or other markers for that matter. Like I said, I'm looking to make this the last barrel I pick up for my A-5, so keep that in mind. Thanks guys (and gals?).
10 August 2008 - 06:14 AMI'll be coming home from Afghanistan this December for about a month, and so far the only scenario game that I've found is the "Chaos in Korea" in Tennessee. I'm looking for anything in the Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee area. Does anyone know of any scheduled games or scenarios during December in these areas? Thanks!
08 August 2008 - 05:10 AMI'm looking at ordering some Dye C7 Gloves... but the sizing looks pretty weird. They have X-Small, Small, and Medium. I have pretty small hands, but not super small. I would assume that a Small would probably be best, but does anyone have any experience at all with these gloves? I could really use some help with figuring out what size to get. Thanks!
04 August 2008 - 10:05 AMSo here it is. I already have a stock and all of that fancy stuff for my A-5. I want to upgrade my foregrip area. I've narrowed it down to these 3 options. What do you guys think?
1. A5A2 grip. It's simple. It looks like it would be comfy. I don't want to get too complex with my setup. What do you all think?
2. Tri-rail under mount (where the A2 grip normally goes). I would then put the handle that pops a bi-pod out of the bottom (looks like a normal grip, but when you press the button, the bi-pod "schomps" out). Still simple, but is just something different.
3. Mil-sim. I would go for the Lapco M4 Mag, and M4 shroud that has the 4 rail system on it.
I just can't make up my mind. I might end up going mil-sim in the end anyway, but that would be later on, just because i would get greedy and in case i wanted to have an M4-looking A-5, i could have one. Most of all, I just want to know what would be ergonomically best, and best for play. Thanks!
28 July 2008 - 10:47 AMI'm in the process of ordering a Tac-One, but I plan to put a Longbow Kit on it. Granted I get the full Longbow Kit in, I have one question. On the ordering options for the Tac-One, I know I would get the Longbow Ready option, but there's an option about ordering a hose/air adapter. You can get it installed, separate, or not at all. Which one of the three would I get? Here's the link to ordering the Tac-One.
