21 July 2008 - 01:54 PMso i (along with everyone else) knows the flatline is very picky on paint. so heres my question....your out on the field in a fire fight, and then BAM a ball breaks. would it be ok to run a swab through the barrel and keep playing untill i have the time to take apart my gun and clean it properly? i know this is usually ok, but when i break paint it gets all over the front bolt (i dont know what its called exactly), so will it do any damage to keep playing? i have an old 98 custom with the old flatline so taking apart the gun to clean it is time consuming
16 July 2008 - 06:36 PMi am looking into stock ions as a new gun, i want a smaller, lighter, faster gun than my 98 custom and i have my eyes on the ion. my question is, is it good in stock form? i will probably be using CO2 for some time unless i buy a package with a HPA tank. i know the feed neck is not very good so that will be upgraded first, but becides that...let me know how you feel about them. tell me the goods and bads
and if you are a SP hater, and are just gonna post something stupid like "ions suck, get ______" please dont waste your time. if your going to post, atleast give me "i like my ion because...." and/or "i dont like my ion because...."
29 June 2008 - 05:37 PMlong story short i have a bad CO2 tank with a good o-ring and a good CO2 tank with no o-ring, is there any way to take the o-ring off my bad tank and put it on my good one?
i know there REALLY cheap but the 45 min. drive out to my nearest pro shop is not cheap
13 June 2008 - 11:04 AMso i got a 98 custom from my friend, and the gun itself is broken, so i want to put the parts on Y 98 custom

but the problem is i dont have any idea how to put the stuff on, i found on the internet how to put the flatline on, but thats it
so if anyone could help me out, or give me a link on how to put this stuff on that would be sweet!
10 June 2008 - 05:12 PMfirst, i understand this has been posted 10,000,000,000 times...i couldn't find anything using the search, so....
i have a 98 custom (the one between the m98 and 98c pro, i think....unless the m98 is the same gun i have...im not too sure, ill post a pic of my gun though) and i don't know if i need the e-bolt or the e-trigger....and i think i read somewhere that if my gun uses a e-bolt, i can send it to tippmann and they can mill it to use a e-trigger, is this true?
a pic of my gun (not my actual gun, same model)
