  1. If Montana had an SPPL Qualifier....

    21 October 2009 - 04:22 PM

    Hey Y'all,
I'm a Junior at the University of Montana and for my final project in one of my classes we are supposed to write a paper regarding to plan an event. So what better an event to have than a paintball event...even better how bout an SPPL event? The question at hand is, how many teams in the area (Northwest) in either the 5-man beginner format or the 10-man, what teams would be up for coming out to Missoula for a qualifier. This of course is under the assumption S.P.P.L. approved the qualifier and all that jazz...Very hypothetical, but work with me. How many would be up for the 5-man or 10-man format and where are ya coming from? Let me know of your team or someone you know who has a team if you'd come; money/financial issues aside, I'm just looking for a ballpark guesstimate of how many teams to expect at the event.

So, if your team would go, let me know your team name, format (5 or 10 man or both), and where you'd be coming from. This will also help me figure out other costs that I would need to get squared away if I know how many to expect (portas, how much paint and air needed, staffing, etc). Thanks a lot guys and girls.

Think I'll post this up in the SPPL section as well, just to make sure that it gets some response (sorry Admins!). Thanks for your time.

  2. 2 Piece barrels

    03 October 2008 - 09:07 PM

After a quick look around, didn't see a similiar thread around, so...I'm looking into upgrading the barrel on my Ion for woods and for tourney and I was just wondering if the fronts make any difference as to the sound, accuracy, blah blah. I know that there are small accuracy differences when you go up in size, and the back will be The Freak or Freak Jr. So, do the different fronts (All American, Progressive, Freak, etc) have much difference between them or is it just an aesthetics thing?
  3. Trigger Pull

    28 September 2008 - 01:34 PM

What's up? Here's a question for you guys, I'm wanting to shorten up the trigger draw/pull on my Ion. I figure maybe this way, I can rock'er a little faster (just regular semi-auto). I'm pretty sure it can be done (why couldn't it?), but I'm just not quite sure how to go about it. I haven't had her that long yet and have yet to really strip'er down. Any of you guys/girls have an idea?
  4. Sniper Footwear

    16 September 2008 - 09:34 PM

Just wondering what everyone else puts on their feet. Was using my ACG's until I lost them in the mud on a far side flank. That and they were losing traction. So now I'm trying out a set of Combat/Jungle boots. Light, pretty comfy and we'll see how quiet they are during my stalks on sunday. What about you guys?
  5. Mortar Wars II

    30 July 2008 - 10:37 PM

What is up NW Brigade? I'm up here in Mizzou, MT and planning on making the Mortar Wars II game at Nitehawk. Just thought I'd post up and see who is going and all that jazz. So far I've got three going with me. Looking forward to shootin up with you guys...SO WHO'S GOING!!!
    Happy Shootin...
