01 December 2008 - 04:59 PMNot sure if this is what your doing but I was playing lefty (not sure why because I'm righty), But I couldn't figure out why I couldn't look down the barrel and then I figured out that: I was keeping my right eye open and closing my left, like I was used to since I'm a righty. That's probably not it and I'm probably just a 1 in a million spaz, but who knows... maybe you're a spaz too...

Sorry, I find myself at a loss for words as well...
17 November 2008 - 03:11 PMmy friend has a matrix rail and he loves it. Never had a problem with it. No leaks or whatever you said. Now, as to wether it's better than an ion or not...DUUUUUHHHH!!!!! I had an Ion and got to play with it twice before it got fried in the rain. I currently own an SLG, which is a small step down from the matrix rail and I adore it. It's made by the same company (DYE) which makes amazing guns. My advice is to get it. You won't regret it.
17 November 2008 - 02:59 PMI would still think of getting the ion first. It is balanced overall allowing you to play in the woods and speedball. I'm not saying the a5 can't but I think the ion is better in that perspective.
Sorry I couldn't resist spoiling this for you: you cant play speedsball with an A-5... Well, not if you want to win.
Ok now back to the actual question- My advice, if it's raining, don't use your ion. Maybe some other people played with it in the rain with and got away with it, but I played with my Ion (God rest it's soul) in the rain about a month ago- and didn't get away with it. My board was fried and my eyes didn't work till I payed a guy $15 to fix them, not to mention my poor, poor Vlocity Jr... $65(it was used) down the drain... So basically-
PLEASE DONT PLAY WITH YOUR ION IN THE RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I will get off my soapbox and leave quietly...
