21 June 2008 - 12:01 PMBiological parents aren't always the answer either, there are a lot of great potential parents out there that don't have the ability to have their own kids, and when they do adopt they give that child all the love and caring that it deserves.
These girls say that they want someone to give them "unconditional love" ??? they are obviosly ignorant to the fact that they are the ones that have to give that unconditional love every minute of every day...all they see is the "fairy tale" idea of having a baby and holding it, snuggling with it, and feeding it...they see themselves watching it sleep and "how cute it will be" or "how they can dress them up in cute baby clothes"...they don't see the hours and hours of crying as the baby builds up their lung power, or the laundry they will have to do, or the never ending bottles and dishes they will be doing...
The bottom line is that any idiot can have a baby...it takes someone really special to be a parent!!

19 June 2008 - 10:44 PMEmbrace the Brass Doug. Embrace the Brass. Become One Of Us....One Of Us...One Of Us....[keeps chanting in dreamlike state til you purchase Brass marker]
Trying my jedi mind type trick on him
Your Jedi mind tricks have no power over Doug...my mind tricks have been ingrained for many years...and most of the time they actually work
19 June 2008 - 09:28 PMI have a PMR with the UL...my husband has the Mini...
if you want something that works awesome straight out of the box...go with the mini...hands down...if you want to mess with your marker ALL the time to make it work...get the PMR...as much as I like my PMR, I would just rather play then tinker and fix the marker to make it work a friend of mine has upgraded his PMR (he doesn't have the UL though) and he finally got it shooting sweet (I think he went through a case and a half in three games last weekend!) but, he has been messing with it for 2+ months now and has had to completely rebuild his reg...I just like to play...which is why I love my phantom it never lets me down...but, I keep the PMR around for those rare occasions that I just feel like throwing some paint down range...
so IMHO get the mini if you want an awesome marker straight out of the box
17 June 2008 - 11:20 AMIts not really a dried grass pattern as much as its just a lot of browns and greens...it works surprisingly well out here in the tropics where you would think that the SO Digi would work better (which is what I have )...the Omni tends to "morph" really well, so it tends to bring out whatever color you are standing in...a lot of the pictures that show the Omnipat in action show it in dead, or brown grassy environments, but it really does blend well in greener grass and woods too...when Doug is in the woods and the tall grass here, you can't see him at all!
So we were just wondering if anyone had used, or seen it used in the New England area
16 June 2008 - 11:03 PMdo you want pink sprinkles on your cookies to match the pink foam in your case? but, seriously I LOVE mine and especially love the way that you can customize them to your style of play...we had about 12 phantoms on the field last weekend and none of them were the same!!
welcome to the "cool kids" table
