18 March 2008 - 12:50 PMNo, I never have the urge to put on my mask and start pretending in the hall........(?)
Clean up your apartment and put everything away for awhile. If you can or want, sell any gear that you really can't say that you would use again. Keep all of your markers. If you don't need the cash, then keep 'em.
Your situation is normal.
Very wise words i agree
17 March 2008 - 03:45 PMI never cared for the flatline for the simple reason it adds complexity to aspect I can overcome by simply arcing my shots.
A lot of people buy them thinking they will now be able to hit people from further away because they give you more "range" That's not necessarily the case. While they increase the range a paintball can travel, they have no impact on your effective range or your paintball's velocity at a given range. At any given distance a paintball is going relatively close to the same velocity no matter the barrel it's shot from. At 200 feet you are no more likely to hit your target and have it break with a flatline barrel than you are with a standard barrel. Don't forget that accuracy at those more extreme ranges it already poor.
The only time I see the flatline (or Apex) as a practical use is when playing in areas with a very low tree canopy that would prevent you from arching your shots. I suppose if you're incredibly unskilled or lazy you could use it as a method to not have to worry about arching your shots.
Trust me i have been playin for 6 yrs or so and i play nearly every weekend and i am dfinaltey not unskilled or lazy i was just hoping to use it for supression and if i evr play sniper i change to my 16" but i usually play dagger.

14 March 2008 - 01:18 PMi think the closest kill i ever had was i was playing in a field of pine trees. it was about 2 football fields long and one wide and i sprinted all the way to the enemys end. Then i hid between 2 trees by the main path and layed down. One of the oponents stepped on my back and didnt notice so i waited for him to get off me and then i stood up and point blank shot him in the back three times. 2 days later my back was bruised and demolished lol but it was all worth it. ( i was wearing a ghillie suit can't believe the guy didnt notice me)
that has happend to me before except i was with my spotter and he took him out while he was standin on me
(Spotter was in a tree above me)
