Topics I've Started
26 January 2010 - 09:33 PMHey guys, I'm making a new Action Ghillie (and modifying the one I already have). I'm really interested in the Sagebrush density upgrade but I can't find a picture of it online. MOATI says it looks a lot like ACU but I'm still undecided if it'll work.
If anyone has used the Sagebrush upgrade could you tell me how it worked for you and if you got pics I'd love to see them. If it's as light as I think it is then it should work great. If not then more omnipat will work.
24 January 2010 - 10:25 PMHi guys. I'm a long time supporter of your action ghillies. Love the thing! Bought one from y'all years back. The suits work great. So great that I've gotten that weird desire to make a second action ghillie. My wife thinks it's crazy but hey, we all got our hobbies, right?
Here's the situation. I want to make a Fall season ghillie and got online to look for certain density upgrades. In particular, the Sagebrush and Omnipat upgrade. To my shock the Omnipat isn't even on the list to buy thought there is still a picture of it. Now, I don't think you guys would discontinue such a great camo scheme (sure hope not) but could you tell me where its gotten off to?
Thanks a bunch, guys. Keep up the great work! :usa:
17 August 2009 - 05:16 PMOkay so I've been hearing about Tippmann's External Selector Switch e-Grip for the A-5 all year. In fact if you look on the online catalog you can even seen a picture of it with the model number T201008.
So where is it?
I mean, did I miss some info somewhere that they decided not to release it (major suck) or is it yet to be released?
Any Info would be greatly appreciated guys.
27 February 2009 - 07:43 AMOkay guys, how's everyone doing? Good? Great. SO here's the problem. Later this March my bro's and I were planning on organizing our first game of the year. Instead of our home field they've decided to go to a local pay-to-play field. I was up for a change so I told them okay. Well, I looked up the place online to hope to get some pictures to see what kind of tactics to get ready for. I was surprised to find that the entire field is an urban environment. Some of it is like a gigantic speedball field built out of pallets, spools, and crates while other places are buildings and forts. From what I could tell the ground is flat and there is very little vegetation.
Has anyone ever had to deal with things like this before? What tactics should I employ? Things to avoid? Things to focus on? Words of wisdom are welcome.
If it helps, my setup is an A5 digi, dog leg air-thru stock, 20" tactical smartparts barrel, trinity 25 round TAC CAP, basic red-dot sight, radio, and a specop's action ghillie. Now just to let you know I have always relied heavily on my ghillie but it just doesn't look like it's going to cut it this time around.
I have the option of choosing which part of the field to play in so come the 7th I plan on giving it a good walk thru to pick the cream of the crop. I haven't the funds to buy a flatline and an egrip to pick up the broadsword position so I'm staying with sniper. I think it can be done. Maybe the longbow sniper position specops talks about? No matter if it goes well or turns into a slaughter house I plan on tell you guys my experience.
14 February 2009 - 01:32 PMDoes anyone have a picture of the Sagebrush Density upgrade for the action ghillie? I'm interested in buying it but specops doesn't have a picture of what it looks like. I've see or own all the rest. I'm just curious as to what the camo scheme is and if I could use it in my fall season ghillie?
