Topics I've Started
23 June 2008 - 06:48 PMTrying to work some stuff out for the team and was looking for some recommendations... who do you recommend?
I have heard Stadri Emblems mentioned on a couple message boards for patches, how is the quality? Does any one recommend another company?
I know a couple fields that do banners. But is there a specific web site that anyone knows does good work?
Screenprinted shirts / bandanas. Who do you use? Looking for a good quality but not getting raped on the price.
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!!
24 March 2008 - 05:00 PMSo Operation Ocean Tiger, who's playing on the German Side?
My team ("Beasts of War") and I will be playing on the German side. If you were at Stalingrad you would have recognized us by our Red "Hammer and Sicle" bandanas, or at Yellow Scorpion we were in the Blue Camoflaged bandanas.
German side sounds like the most challenging, having to start the game without a command post and establish your own after a beach landing.
Only question is, who's coming with me?
(And is the German side Red or Blue this go round?)
24 March 2008 - 04:53 PMOk so even after reading everything i can find still have a few questions about the duracoating process as it pertains to what i would like done.
Thought it would be great to get a team logo put on a couple of guns, would be about a 4-5 inch diameter circle, 4-5 colors. (Put most likely on the side of an SP8, or butt of an A-5 stock).
Would you duracoat the whole gun first a flat color them apply the logo? (Or recommend doing so?) or do you simply apply on a 5inch duracoat logo?
I know you would need to see the logo to do an accurate price quote, but just a ball park would work for now (logo still in developement).
Also price quote for a single color duracoat finish for an SP8 with stock.
Thanks for everything.
10 March 2008 - 06:44 PMBeen dealing with this for a little while, racking my brain beating my head against the wall, figured just maybe it was time to seek some advice.
Have a group of guys I've been playing with for a few (2-3) years, the core of us have been around the sport for 6-8 years playing on a regular basis, there are also some younger players and those newer to the sport. (Total about 20 people). We've gone to a handfull of scenario games, done reasonably well (even a handfull of awards)...and most of the team seems interested in turning this into a "team".
Heres where the issues begin. We got as far as picking a team name, and coming up with a reliable e-mail list and calandar of events we would like to make it to. A couple people are even trying their hand at designing a logo. Now there are some divisions arising, some of the team (Myself being the captain included) want to try and get one the same page with logod shirts or uniforms, a website, and maybe possible look for sponsorship. The rest of the guys seem to just want to hang around.... either don't want to spend the money, invest the time, or are just lazy and unmotivated when they are not on the field. Even getting everyone regestered on the Spec ops brigade so we can buddy link up seems to be asking to much.
How can i get everyone on the same page? Most these guys play really well togeather and are true assets to the team, but are becoming frustrated with each other because of different expectations. As a captain how can i resolve this without loosing anyone, and without just imposing my own will??
Any feedback would by most appreciated, thanks guys.
