She shoots great, feels great and looks great.
This year Proto have done away with the composite materials and the PMR has metal everywhere, this is due to the fact there is no PM9 so the PMR has developed into what it should have been before.
I shot a box through and there were no breaks and she didn't skip a beat all day Saturday.
Being an Ex-ION XE owner i can say that you get what you pay for, the PMR 09 makes the XE look like junk.
10 May 2009 - 12:16 PMI've seen a cheap WG 65 for sale and i was thinking of picking up a nice milsim gun, but i haven't got a clue about the performance and whatever, i'm mainly concerned with consistency as i don't shoot a case a game.
So has anyone used one?
24 April 2009 - 02:45 PMi'm looking to do a mod involving chopping the front grip off a 98, but i don't have any fancy tools, would a hacksaw job tidied up with files and a dremel be plausible?
19 April 2009 - 11:20 AMSo i'm contemplating an ION XE - M4 mod in the future but i've got several doubts and general questions...
Firstly, will an ION XE actually fit in an airsoft M4 upper? its 21cm long and roughly 2.5cm wide, more accurate measurements would be welcome! (i don't have calipers )
secondly where to put various items such as the battery board and reg?
I've though of several ways of going about this.
1- space permitting, board in grip, battery in solid stock and reg in mag? (probably the simplist?)
2- Solid stock with board, battery and reg in (probably the most difficult due to re-tubing)
Then there is the issue of the feedneck, unlike the ION, the XE's feedneck is attached to the body, meaning a feedneck would have to be attached to the M4 upper which would require copious amounts of epoxy but would definitely work, but are ION Breaches compatible with the threading on the XE? this would also mean being able to get a cocker threaded one
anyway, i'm just throwing ideas around at the moment and would like some input
17 April 2009 - 03:46 AMSo i recently bought a lucky un1tec barrel in black and i came to screw it into my marker to check the fit etc. and after doing so, i have dark smudges on my fingers. i wasn't expecting anodising wear to be this bad, is it a bad anodising job?
it may sound like a stupid question but i haven't had any previous experience with anodising.
