Posts I've Made

  1. In Topic: Paintball Snipers

    14 November 2010 - 11:37 AM

Ok, here I go. Call people what you want. Personaly, I call us snipers. A sniper is a long range recon/demo (as in personell demolition or marker for other demo) unit that uses concealment to their advantage. Do note, I do not say cover, but concealment. In the middle of a field there is no "cover", but I can hide. In the wood i see guys in cover who aren't concealed. In paintball, I will admit, there is no " long range." A skilled player can catch good shots at longer ranges than others. And at any long range you can do recon, weither it be 50 yards or 500. So how bout this, if we want to be called snipers, just let us be, and if you dont want to beleive in us, try to figgure out where I am when I get ya.
  2. In Topic: Question about painting a mask

A good sanding job should be all you need. Also, just a thought, would Krylon Fusion work good for the mask? I have used this stuff on my kids' toys and it has held up to the abuse of 2-5 year olds. I think it should work for this.
  3. In Topic: region patches?

  4. In Topic: Sniper sound track

    21 September 2008 - 06:56 AM

Wow, I am surprised at all of the responses. Please do keep droping the suggestions.. unfortunatly my comp just crashed, but we should be getting it back up within the next 2 weeks. Also, I got a great job again, so I should be able to start getting back into the game once more. If anyone will be at forsaken, I hope to see you there.
  5. In Topic: Confessions of a Sniper

Ok, how can ghille be useless, but Action Ghille be useful?? Same with the sniper kits, but long/q-bow be usefull?? No offense to you or Spec Ops, but that part just looked like an ad.
The bipods ARE useful for people like myself and my wife. I have hand tremors, I cannot keep a barrel level and steady when I shoot without a bipod, but with one, I can hit ever time all day long. My wife has shoulder problems, bout the same thing. The balvica does help. If you have a good one with some padding, try taking a head shot with and without one, I can promise which you would rather (and yes, snipers do get hit sometimes). The red dot does help some people, sorry it doesn't help you, but i love it. You just have to learn how to calibrate it. Full auto is for people who cant aim or hide. At the most it should take no more than 2 shots per person, and if you hide correctly, they can look right at you and not see you.

The silent footwear I am 50/50 on. For me, it works. I wear leather Moc boots. Quiet, very comfortable, and light, they let me feel what is under my feet and can move better in them.

The quiet gun, YES. Report is a bad thing for any sniper, military, paintball, law enforcement, any. The last game I played a few months back I used an Ion. Awesome gun. Quiet, reliable, and if calibrated correctly, very very accurate.

All in all, yes, your opinion is your opinion and mine is mine. But still, be careful on the way you put things, what I addressed in the first part here, no offense, makes you look like you have no clue what you are talking about, which I doubt is true.
