21 November 2007 - 06:21 AMDangit, Young! I wanted to know who won! Did the speedballers get their butts handed to them, or did the woodsballers?
j/k, I feel you very much on that post, man.
Haha... well, I'll hand it to the speedballers... they flung more paint and burned through the defenders a bit faster. But as more and more woodsball players joined the team either fatigue started slowing them down, or they were trying to coordinate better.
I ended up being the last one alive and the ref called the game. I told him I wasn't out yet (so we resumed) and took out three more before getting a nice shot to the top of the head from a foot away. Was quite the fun day.
21 November 2007 - 06:12 AMI want a pair of Captain rank insignias for my gear, pins and patches would be great does the army supply stores sell them?
Yes... most surplus stores have every possible rank insignia and a variety of unit patches. You might even be able to find the unit insignia for Infantry Regiments and what not. These were pins for the dress uniform that go on the collar (at least in the Army). Marines don't have any unit isnignias at all.
well looks like im taking the US ARMY patch off my Jacket btw I didnt but it on there bought it like that. I have a question however about honnoring someone? My grandfather was in the Navy and I was wondering what I could put on something I would where that could honor him if anything ?
Again you don't NEED to take off the Army tape from any piece of clothing. It's not against the law to have it on there. As for honoring your Grandfather... you could:
-Put a US Navy nametape on the BDU/jacket along with his name
-You could put on his rank that he had
-You could attach a patch from his ship or station that he served on
-You could get a set of dogtags with his information on them and wear them
There's lots of things you can do to honor him. The best thing you can do is go out to the field and play fair... each and every game. That would be a start.

21 November 2007 - 05:47 AMIt's basically all been said:
-Buy real cammies not cheap knock offs
-Immediately wash and/or soak them after games
-Follow the instructions put on the labels
-Use a strong NON-bleaching detergent, and hand rub it into a deep stain if needed
Unless you're rolling around in a tub filled with paint, there's no reason it wont come out when washed properly. Biggest mistake I think most make are waiting too long to wash them.
