I've ran as a lone wolf recon missions and brought a few sniper teams behind lines for big/scenario games. A few things: 1. Get a laminated map of the field, preferably a Topographical one that gives you terrain features. You can plan ahead of time of good areas to run a patrol through. Also some dry erase/map pens so you can mark areas of interest, plus the back makes a good notecard for writing info down.
    2. A cheap digital camera with a decent zoom lens. Its sometimes hard to describe what your looking at over a radio, or you just might forget.
    3. Know how to silence your gear, electrical tape works wonders. Personally I don't shoot much while on missions, just hide 1 on 4 isn't very good odds. So carrying extra paint with you isn't the greatest thing either it rattles to much, I just top my hopper and that's it. But slings, carabeaners (SP?), keys, change (as in coins) all make rattling noise. So I suggest as you get completely geared up jump up and down a few times, note anything that rattle and either tape it down or remove it.

The mission will always dictate what you need to carry.

If you paid attention as to when I said about becoming One with the Concrete Guardrail, because it wouldnt take much to know that the vehicle Im referring too is an 18 Wheeler and those types of vehicles have Two Huge Blind Spot Mirrors on both sides of the cab and you wanna talk about consideration HAH!

Its just not the 18 wheelers, I get the same problems with my DT466.

Yeah while most of us just get cut off by drivers in SUV's, mini vans (By far the worse IMO), or these little zippy cars. Truck drivers around here have to give that consideration by law for changing lanes, I give about a 1/8 to change a lane with the flashers on. I think I over do it sometimes by running with strobes and light bars when I enter cities.

And if that the case....might as well throw in Cell Phone and Text Messaging while driving will create Road Rage as well.

Yeah they must do. Today I forced a little Caviler off the road as she tried to to pass me as the lane merged. I wasn't being a :excl: I just didn't see her. So I pulled over and told her "Just cause I'm slower than you, I'm bigger and heavier than that empty soda can"

Give trucks room. Or this will happen.....

We don't stop on a dime especially towing a skid steer and about 4 extra tons of stone in the box.
EDIT: Plus our tires are probably worth more than your now scraped car.
