    REGISTERED PLAYERS
IMPORTANT INFO AFFECTING THIS WEEKS GAME

Due to sudden & unforeseen circumstances, the "Once Upon a Grimm" scenario paintball game, originally scheduled for Memorial Day weekend at Xtreme Paintball/Travis Air Force Base will be changing venues. Effective immediately, the game has been moved to Shooters All Season Paintball, in Nicolaus CA. All registrations are still valid and all paint purchases will be honored. The new field is located approx. 45 min.Northwest of Sacramento.

Once again THE GAME HAS MOVED TO A DIFFERENT FIELD

We realize that this is awfully sudden for such a drastic change - we just found out ourselves - and may present difficulties for some of our players - especially the military families who live on the base as well as those of you may have traveled hundreds of miles. But unfortunately our event has fallen victim to petty inter-departmental political infighting between different elements in the base Outdoor Services department, and the responsible authorities have rescinded approval of our event without any warning. We are shocked and embarrassed that something like this could ever have happened, and deeply apologize to our customers. It never occurred to anyone that someone representing the United States Air Force would go back on their word like this….We will be following up this post with information as to the responsible persons name & office contact info, as well as the contact info for this persons superior officer, and encourage you all to get in touch with these people & let them know how their thoughtless & back-handed decision has affected you. The fact that THEY waited until several days before the event to do this to us is both shockingly un-professional as well as damn near unforgivable. Needless to say, this situation presents all of us with some difficulties....

However, we have decided to face these difficulties head on. Where one door closes, another door often opens, & we have reason to believe that this may be the case. Another paintball field, Shooters Paintball has stepped up & offered to host the event at the last minute. Undoubtedly we will have to make some adjustments, and this may not work for all of our players, but we believe that we have the resources & the wherewithal to continue on with the game. It is very disappointing not to be able to hold the game on the field that we planned on & advertised for - and that you our customers paid for - but we will do the very best we can to make this event as successful as it can be. The field itself is approx. 20 acres of mixed density woodland w/ scattered wooden bunkers, with some smaller hyperball fields along the side, including one that is covered/enclosed & may be able to have lights for night play. Classic California woodsball….

(And believe it or not, there may be some potentially positive aspects to the change of fields. For one thing, there is no base security to contend with. Players may come & go as they please with no gates, guards, or restrictions, and the field is fine with Friday night camping as well. Walk-on players will also be welcome, as there is no need to cut off registration early. )

Of course we will give full refunds to anyone who wants one without question, and if anyone prefers a comp pass for a future game instead we can certainly arrange it…whatever it takes to do right by our customers, we will do.
However, we ask you consider staying on for the game. Many of you know Team Lockdown - you have played with us in the past and know how we conduct ourselves, and how seriously we take this sport. Lockdown has promised to host a weekend of kick-ass scenario paintball, and that is precisely what we intend to do. Same missions, same players, same props & costumes, same gunfights...

We will have more information posted shortly, so keep checking out forums & Facebook page for the latest info. Once again, our deepest apologies for this situation. We will be following up over the next day with phone calls to most of you to explain things further and to make whatever arrangements are needed. Thank you for your understanding in this difficult matter, and we hope to see you at the game.
