10 June 2008 - 08:02 PMHey im an ambush sniper who has been using a spyder MR2 with a ported 12in barrel for my job for a while and i was looking into the longbow and the q-bow. for those that already own one, what do you think? do you ever have trouble with the longbow's magazine tube? any thoughts?-
If you are going to be a good sniper you don't need either of those. all you need is accuracy, patience and a sence of self preservation. You need to know your escape routs and where everyone will come from. I have a tac 1 set up with no longbow no q-bow and i do just fine. Ghillie or good camo is helpful but the ghillie is not necessary. I do not like the q-loader but i had one and it worked fine for a month or two but then it didn't work very well and was inconsistant. all you really need is an incredibly clean barrel consistant gun and good paint. I do recomend a tac 1 but i do not recommend the q-bow. I am trying to get my setup but then might look into the longbow.
hope it helped
hey buddy, i just need your opinion on the markers, not on what you think sniping is about. I know, ive played for 5 years. thx. -
24 May 2008 - 05:01 PM1. When you're in a safe area, and everyone has their masks off, put your damn barrel bag on, keep your safety on, and keep your damn finger off the damn trigger!
A guy I paintballed with, came in holding his gun by his pistol grip backwards, so the barrel was facing the sky. He leans over, I realize his barrel bag's off, and just as I'm about to scream a warning, the guy's marker goes off, and misses my friend's head by a foot.
If it helps, we lit him up afterwards, 10 guys unloading everything in their markers at this guy (He was on a competing team.) Still, some people shouldn't be allowed to have anything that can shoot.
2. Paintball markers without sights. I realize I can aim down the side of the gun, but it's so much harder than using a sight...
yeah i get both of those. especially number 2. im all about accuracy, so if i cant aim, im gonna get shot.
another thing. i hate newbies who walk on the field with their wal-mart guns and act like they're rambo or something. that seriously ticks me off. i like to overshoot those kids.-
Thats stooping down to there level.
i was being sarcastic, settle down and get the stick out of ur butt.-
16 May 2008 - 03:16 PMtry the Spyder mr3. your probably a woodsballer so itll work great for you.-
16 May 2008 - 03:13 PMmy Spyder MR2 shoves out 25 bps. all i had to do was replace the stock de-tent and pick up a killer electronic hopper. i never use the full auto tho, but even on the semi i can shoot pretty fast when i need to.-
16 May 2008 - 02:59 PMV-force profilers. GREAT fov, absolutely no fog. i even held my pair over a steam vent and no foggage. also look at v-force sheilds and v-force morphs. they all use the same lens the only difference is the other materials used to make them. the morph and sheild are the less expensive items, but the profilers are the best.-
