Posts I've Made
17 January 2009 - 06:22 PMI am a silly dog with a bunny on my head.
Said this in my sleep last night. True story.
14 October 2008 - 09:29 AM+1 on the spectra. I've had that and the Proto Switch. The proto does not fit my face at all and fogs pretty regularly even with the thermals. Pretty disappointed with the thermal lens quality, too. The two panes don't match and separate from each other, even brand new.
Spectra fits like a second skin.
14 October 2008 - 05:55 AMIs there a functional difference between the Spectra and the Spectra II system?
08 October 2008 - 09:17 AMI like the white snot line down from the nose.
Just kidding. Looks good.
08 September 2008 - 01:00 PMTake a look at what pressure your marker wants. If it's a blowback like a Tippmann or Spyder, it probably wants close to 700 PSI. Compare that to the pressure your tank's reg is putting out. Low pressure regulated N2 tanks only give ~400 PSI, as you probably know.
Even if it's a HP regulated tank (~800 PSI), it's limited by having to blow air through that long coiled remote, through it's tiny fittings and around it's dozen or so coils. This affects your recharge rate, which could cause your problem.
The max pressure your tank's regulator can output
Velocity at the chronograph
Marker functionality without the remote
If none of these things is the culprit, you can join my own little quest looking for a good lightweight non-coiled remote.
