02 July 2008 - 02:13 PMThis is a picture of my friend's gun (Capn21) that I have been working on for a long time. This is my about my third paint job that I have done and it is definitely the best. I would like to thank Big Bone for all the help he has given me by answering all my questions.
08 May 2008 - 08:27 PMyou need to remember, the pressure rating for pvc is for WATER not air, and yes, there is a difference.
I know you spent alot of time and effort (looks really good btw) but still doesnt make it safe.
Actually, the way I understand it, PSI is PSI no matter what is creating the pressure. PSI is a standard unit of measure just like a pound is. At the same temperature, a different volume of water is required to produce the same amount of pressure as that created by air, but 90 psi created by water=90 psi created by air. Just like a pound of bricks=a pound of feathers.
06 May 2008 - 04:49 PMAs its been stated numerous times above if you use a pvc expansion chamber you should realy use a regulator and popet vaulve or burst disk. Also what are you using to run it co2 or hpa? I personaly would never put co2 into a pvc expansion chamber because of its sensitivity to temp. Cryalon makes flat paint in camo colors for plastic, thats what i use on my launchers and its pretty durable and dosnt chip off.
Yeah, I never us Co2 in my launcher for that very reason. And I have been thinking about getting a blow valve just to be safe.
