  3. What is the definition of a "Starter Marker"?

    25 June 2009 - 08:44 AM

After playing a game on Saturday I had some kids (12-15 yrs old) at the table next to mine trying to tell me a man in my late 20's that my Project Salvo was a "Starter marker". Now keep in mind I've had my 98 Custom since I started playing paintball years ago. I saw the Salvo and bought it for the look and I've had great performance from the 98's internals, so to me this purchase was a no brainer. I am of the mindset: "if it works good then use it." So my question to them was "What defines a marker as a starter marker?" I received a bunch of responses, but no real answer. My next question after being told about and shown all of these expensive markers was "Did any of you all pay for the stuff your using?" The natural response was NO. I thought this might be an interesting question to post and get feedback on. What defines a marker as a “Starter Marker”?
