Topics I've Started

  1. Food for Thought

    08 May 2009 - 08:07 AM

This came to my attention through a forward. I dont usually favor forwards, but in this case, it made me chuckle so I decided to share :ninja:.

A woman in a hot-air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.

"She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be an Obama Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault."

  3. Is it needed during a game of paintball?

    22 April 2009 - 09:17 PM

Hey guys. I just wanted to get some of your feedback on one topic...
In most high endurance sports, there is always a drink that is marketed through that sport. Lebron James has Vitamin Water, snowboarders and motocross have Monster, the NBA and NFL market Propel/Gatorade/Powerade and so on. I think that paintball is also a high endurance sport.
Do you think that the paintball community is a good market for energy drinks? Why or why not?

  5. Ion for sniper?

    04 August 2008 - 12:08 PM

Hey guys. I am pretty new to Ions and pretty much new to the world of electros in general, so if someone has had expirience with them, i would really apreciate your help. I am really getting into woodsball and was looking into an Ion as a quiter and lighter alternative to the loud and heavy A-5. i see Ions being used for speedball all the time, but i was wondering how they would hold out in woodsball. Also, should i get one stock, or are there any ups that i need to keep in mind if i want to use it for a "sniper" position in woodsball? I have my eye on the q-bow but that will require a deal of saving up...If you could also include a price for a stock Ion, as well as any ups relative to playing "sniper" in woodsball, i will be very greatful. Thanks for the help ahead of time, your opinion is much appreciated.
