  1. How do I become a paint dealer?

    16 June 2010 - 08:26 AM

I'm helping a friend open a small indoor speedball field. The closest place to buy paint is over an hour away. Otherwise it's WalMart, and we all know that they sell rocks. I've told him the best way to avoid safety issues with poor paint is to have FPO. So, how do I go about becoming a paint dealer and being able to sell FPO paint? It's not going to be for profit, we just don't want to lose money on the deal.
  2. Looking for a new vehicle

    03 June 2010 - 08:19 AM

Ok, I'll set up the situation. The wifey and I are looking to replace one of our two Buick's. We drove out to my brother's place last weekend for my new niece's baptism. There were us two and my one year old. We all fit in our car, but if we would have needed to stay longer, i'm not sure if we would have been able to fit everything in the car. With the planning of adding another youngster by this time next year, we were thinking it's time to get something bigger. Now if it were up to me I'd go straight for the Mongo Sized SUVs and not mess around in another two or three years when we (probably) add #3 to the family. But as marriages go, both sides get a voice. Because of the massive amounts of snow we got last year I was able to convince the wife that we needed something with more ground clearance and 4 wheel drive (I won this easily because it was me who had to dig the cars out ever time the snow drifted or we got more than 6"). So we're not looking at minivans or anything without 4 wheel drive.

The choices above are the vehicles that I've been looking at. Please don't just pick all Chevy's and post below, "Chevy's cause Fords suck!" That doesn't help me. Please post your reasons for choosing what you've chosen (i.e. the transmissions on X are junk). If there's other, similar vehicles that aren't on the list, post them. But keep in mind we're looking at used and somewhere in the $5-6K range for price.
  3. Azodin Zenith

    12 May 2010 - 01:50 PM

I was looking into the Azodin markers. Wondering if anyone has used/uses one and what their opinions are. I checked PBreview.com and since the company's pretty new there aren't many reviews just yet.

Please don't post anything like, "Get a slg/mini/g3 instead." I don't have reasonable access to HPA where I'm at, so I'm stuck with CO2. Since this is the case my sub-$300 marker choice is severely limited. Also, I was thinking SP Vibe, but with SP's indefinite closure, I don't want to have a marker that works great, breaks down, and I can't find parts for. SO, that leaves me with...Azodin (unless you have other CO2 capable markers that I'm not familiar with). Mike at techpb seems sold on them, but I want more opinions.

  5. Clamping Feedneck for a Spyder Pilot ACS

Title says it all. I just don't see spending $30+ shipping on a new one.

PM me if you can help.
