20 December 2011 - 08:52 PMMy wife's department at her hospital got rudely challenged by a bunch of trash talking rec-ballers to a game of paintball. Her hospital against their hospital. These guys apperantly regularly challenge other hospitals to paintball games, then roll up with 40+ people and plow the challenged hospital into the ground all day.
My wife's coworker contacted me, forwarded me a ton of the trash talking emails and texts that she recieved from them, and asked if there was anything that I could do to help. heh.
After she got confirmation from the OpForce that 'she could bring whoever the heck she wanted to play, it wouldn't make a difference'... the gloves came off.
Here's the video:
The other hospital pretty much thought that my wife's hospital was going to be showing up with about 40 newbie players that the could destroy all day. To ensure their own victory... they even brought in what THEY thought was ringers.... a few guys from a local scenario team.
My wife's hospital however.... ended up showing up to the game with the LA Hitmen, the Orange County Mobile Infantry, Southwest Regulators, and all in all... reps from 6 different pro and semi pro tourny, milsim, and scenario teams.
It was a completely and utterly one sided massacre
Enjoy the video heh.
To answer some questions that I've had too on other forums:
1.) Yes.... the OpForce team captain didn't cuss anyone out with his messages... .but he DID send all of those messages, except 1 of them (which was directed at me directly) to a female who has only played 1 time before, years ago. He DID show up with his own 'ringers', and 40+ players for the sole purpose of pounding olive view hospital into the ground, thinking that they were most likely showing up with a bunch of newbie players that would be ground into the dirt all day.
2.) Even if you don't think the LA Hitmen are one of the top 5 teams in the country, tough. They are 3 time repeat NPPL pump champions. They are ranking in divisions 1-5, and their team captain was one of the founding members of the San Diego Dynasty (or team dynasty).
3.) Seriously... just enjoy the video people, don't start with "they aren't pro's.... they aren't sprinting around like they are playing quake!"... YOU go sprinting around in a 40 vs 50 melee in a medium sized field. LOL
4.) Stop hatin... and just enjoy that we got to squash some rec-ball trash talkers, that scared alot of possible first time players away from this game, and our sport
Out of the entire hospital, only 4 people from my wife's hospital showed up for this, because there was so much trash talk directed at them. Hence why we all went out.... directing trash talk at new players to scare them away from our sport isn't cool.
11 August 2010 - 03:52 AMHi folks, long time no post.
Just wanted to let you guys know that we just put out our first new product since last summer. A new front sight / gas block that resembles a SCAR front sight.
The sight can be used with almost any marker, and with almost any barrel system. There is currently nothing similar on the market from any other company. I'm making these in small batches, and only selling them when I actually have sights in stock. As soon as the batch gets sold out, they are being listed as out of stock and I'll be making more. There will be no preorders required.
The sights are $29.95
Each one is hand made.
17 February 2010 - 12:40 AMThis product is specifically for X7 owners, like most everything else that we make.
We've had betamag / c-mag's for the standard X7 for a while now, but have recently been able to make it so that you could use the same betamag with both your X7 standard, as well as your Phenom. The mag is cosmetic only, and is meant to allow your marker to have the look of a Light Machine Gun, or LMG.
Here's a link to the youtube video:
Still trying to figure out the final pricing, but I'll update that info in the next day or two when we figure it out and update the website.
11 January 2010 - 04:34 PMJust wanted to swing by and post some info for everyone here on the Spec Ops boards.
The phenom is a great marker, and everyone who has used one has loved it compared to a standard X7/A5. Much less recoil, lower operating pressure, etc, etc, etc. The only complaint has been that gimpy 9mm mag that you're forced to use due to the magwell being cast into the receivers. Well... not a problem anymore.
We are now offering custom made-to-order 5.56mm magazine/magwells for the tippmann phenom.
The main body is constructed of solid high strength impact resistant plastic. It isn't a clamshell design like most other plastic mags, this is solid.
The 5.56 mag replaces the stock phenom straight mag. It connects in the same way as the stock mag, and no modding, screws, or pushpins are required to hold it in place.
Each one is made by hand.
Phenom with the 5.56mm mag, and SCAR kit:
The engraved text underneath the logo on the magwell reads:
CA .223 / 5.56mm
03 December 2009 - 06:17 PMIf anyone has a used XP5 foregrip for the tippmann x7 that they don't want anymore and would like to make some money off of it, please let me know. I need to buy a couple of them, and really don't want to buy them through rockstartactical, tippmannparts.com, etc.
I need to come across 3 of them, and having to pay $35 each, plus tax, plus $15-20 shipping is really not a desireable thought.
I'll give this a coupla days before I finally have to break down and buy them online.
Pay via paypal. Name your price, shipping included.
All that I ask is that even if they are used, that they are in decent working condition, the rear attachment points for the 2 pushpins are intact, and that the front sight is included.
dhallak hasn't added any friends yet.
