Topics I've Started

  1. Phenom upgrades and after market parts

    07 April 2011 - 07:01 AM

So, I'm getting a new Phenom in a day or two. I'm wondering what upgrades you guys have used and recommend. I hear the TechT MRT Bolt helps a lot with efficiency and accuracy and less chops. I'm also interested in the TechT Cyclone Upgrade Kit. Also wondering if anyone has ever used something like the Zero Kick hammer.

Basically, I want to make my Phenom pretty nice because I have a feeling I'm going to have it for quite a while. Now before I get flamed with "omg noob those don't do anything!" Well, that's why i am asking. I've seen youtube videos of the MRT Bolt where by just replacing the bolt, because it was lighter and more efficient, their FPS went up 30fps and he had to cut off some air to it. And I've heard from a personal friend that after market bolts increased his accuracy. So obviously there's at least a little truth to some of these. But that's why I'm asking you guys, to see what you think and check out any after market recommendations.

    Thanks.
  2. E-Gripped Tippmann X7

    28 March 2011 - 12:24 AM

    SOLD

Okay, so I want a Phenom, so I'm selling this to make up the difference. Marker has seen some games, but it's still pretty dang clean and works perfectly. Comes with hopper, with e-grip installed and working properly, with a CAR adjustable stock, a BSA red dot sight (one of the screw pegs are missing, but its never come off), and a laser sight on the front just for looks. It used to function til the wire accidentally got ripped out of the pressure switch. So I just stick it behind the electrical tape to make it look "right". If you don't want the red dot or laser I will take them off for you. I still have the original rear sight, but I am afraid I do not have the original butt plate for it, so it only has the adjustable stock. I polished the internals when I first got it, and it runs smooth. Comes with original manual and e-grip instructions, plus the pull through squeegee. Has the two allen keys and an o-ring in the magazine that came with the gun. Comes with the stock barrel. I can also leave the sling strap thing on the stock if you want. It's just a loop on the end. Nothing special. I would just buckle it to my vest that had a built in buckle. Orange towel not included. It's MINE! :D

Not looking at any trades for this.. Unless you want to trade a Phenom... But I won't hold my breath :)

The laser sight has like a rubber/plastic coating, and is peeling off... But a quick spray job or something could fix it.. But obviously it's removable, so if you really hate it, it can be taken off. I'm just leaving that stuff on there in case someone really likes the look of it with them on.
