Topics I've Started
16 September 2008 - 07:23 AMWell for those of you that know Chris (Troy's brother... sorry I had to ), I just wanted to let you know that he will be in surgury today for the broken ankle that he received from a baseball slide into a tree, while playing on Sept. 7th. From what I understand so far, he is in for a plate and some screws to mend the break. Myself and Jason (MadOps) will be swinging by the hospital to see him this evening.
Please help me in wishing Chris a speedy and full recovery.
06 August 2008 - 09:48 AMI was just wondering if anyone else was going? I just found out about it the other day.
For a three hour drive, I'll definitely be going.
21 July 2008 - 11:37 AMSold...
I am listing this for a buddy of mine, who wants to get away from Milsim and into speedball. I drug him to a couple of scenarios and it is not his thing.
Everything shown is included:
Lightly used X7 LNIB (serial #105)
X36 Folding Stock
X36 Carry Handle w/ built in laser (see pic)
AK-47 Mag w/ built in battery & allen wrench compartment (see pic)
Shocktech SupaFly delrin bolt
And a lot of new spare parts (a complete X7 Cyclong Feed, power tube, complete valve, complete oring kit, and an extra hopper)
All parts (aside from spare parts) have seen light use. He is asking for $400 shipped OBO for this sale. If interested Post and PM. I will run any offer by him. The worst he can do is say no. Now onto the pictures...
Custom laser mounting
Custom battery & allen wrench storage
09 May 2008 - 09:40 AMI was just wondering if anyone else had heard this. I have sent out an email and I am waiting on a reply back. But a buddy of mine was on the phone with HS the other day and they told him that due to many complaints that they have been getting about the camping, that they were planning on stopping it.
I can't speak for others, but the camping/paintball weekends are the main reason I go to the big games... Like I said before, I was just wondering if anyone else had heard or could shine some light on it.
15 January 2008 - 06:30 AMI have been trying to find a field to host some pump games and Chad Roteman has been gracious enough to offer to host a pump scenario. So I wanted to get this out there as soon as I had everything finalized with Mr. Roteman.
Pump only events don't come around here very often; So clear you calender for August 23rd and bring any pump marker that you might have or can find. This will be a pump only scenario based on the French and Indian War.
Chad has even lined up some re-inacters to take part in the game. A $10 entry and the event is BYOP or paint will be available for sale at the event.
The game has already been added to the game locator for those of you who have friends or team-mates that don't visit the forum.
10am Start (sharp)
1pm - 2:30pm Lunch
There will be "rustic" camping for $10 per night, Co2 and HPA fills available on site along with paint sales (price to be added/updated). Pop, snacks will be available, along with pizza for lunch.
The field address is 5368 Klam Road, Columbiaville, MI 48421
If you have been to this field before, be ready for some improvments over last year. Chad is currently working on adding camp sights, improving parking, adding more restrooms, and offer insertions by vehicle, plus the field now has new bunkers plus more that is expected to be completed by May.
I'm hoping to get a decent turnout, to show that there is some interest in pump play in the area. And I have a few loaner pumps that will be available for use, so if you don't have a pump but would like to play PM me.
