Agreed, that is also a big part. My I feel almost that my Phantom is a part of me when I play with it, it points so well. I proved it when I shot someone that was behind my back right at the moment when i turned around and saw him, since my gun is so light I was able to easily shoot him with one hand. He was about 40 feet away, half behind a tree. That was a great elim.

I hear that. Whenever I think back to a game when I've played with my phantom, I can hardly remember thinking about positioning it right or aiming, I only remember shooting it. If I'm borrowing a friends semi though, the main thing on my mind is aiming it right, or pushing it out of the way when i'm trying to run. My pump just blends into my body when I play. That's where true accuracy comes from.

Welcome to the fun side of paintball.

Just buy a mask that doesn't come in one of those walmart powerpacks, and you'll be fine. Don't forget to check your lense for cracks too! :thumbs-up:

Ha, I love that website. My government teacher showed it to the class the other day.
  5. In Topic: Stock for phantom?

    15 October 2008 - 01:45 PM

I switched from a 98 to a phantom, and I do fine without a stock. I never really have a problem pumping it or aiming without a stock, I always figured it would get in my way when I try to play tight.

And about using a back bottle, it looks a little weird, but you can use it as a stock. The tank will get in the way a little when you're sighting down the top rail of your feed tube (if you're using a SC). The balance is off as well, it's more in the back then the front, obviously. It's all preference. I happen to carry a 9 oz around in case I run out of 12 grams in the middle of the day.
