In algebra we have a project at the end of the year to preform a survey of 50+ people and chart the results. I know it doesn't sound hard, and it isn't, but I'd rather ask Special Ops over people at my school because the results would be more legit based on the fact that not everyone comes from the same region, is the same age, and you also can never see the results before you vote.

So... vote in the poll. I need about thirty-five people to finish the project.

PLEASE ONLY VOTE ONCE. I couldn't figure out how to set the poll up to work the way I needed.

    edit:fixed your Poll - Lego

Thank you, kind sir of the poll fixing.
  3. The new Ubuntu has arrived.

8.04 Hardy Heron is available from www.ubuntu.com in release candidate form. I'd expect the full release very soon. If you want to use it, download the CD image and install that and wait for the update manager to give you the full release update.

I've been running the beta for a while now, and I'm having great results. All of the hardware I've thrown at it has worked fine, including a wifi card, two digital cameras, an iPod, and all the components of my computer itself. Whatever you've got, it will probably work fine unless you're trying to make it work with some ancient graphics card or wifi chipset.
Come on and tell us about how bad Linux is on the desktop now Warden, that's always fun. :D
